But many coaches still donât use these 3 keys.
Why?
Because they are afraid of REJECTION.
Fear of rejection (coaching flavor) is a result of these 3 disempowering
mindsets:
- âIâm not a good enough coachâ
- âThis particular person doesnât need coaching.â
- âI NEED this client.â
To overcome fear of rejection, adopt the â3 Mindsets of Abundant Discovery Sessionsâ:
- âIâm an awesome coach.â
- âThis particular person needs a discovery session.â
- âI donât need this client.â
If you adopt those 3 mindsets, the fear goes awayâŠ

âŠAND youâll schedule more discovery sessions.

Disempowering Mindset #1: âIâm not a good enough coach.â
If you believe youâre not a good enough coachâŠ
âŠor even if you question your coaching abilityâŠ
âŠthen youâll hesitate to offer your potential clients a discovery session.
Instead, adopt the Mindset of Abundant Discovery Sessions: âIâm an
awesome coach.â
Having almost ANY coach is better than NO coach.
Youâre the coach this particular client has access to right now.
Offering them your discovery session is a catalyst to make your clientâs life
better.
Not everyone has access to the top coaches in the worldâŠ
âŠbut they do have access to YOU.

If you believe that your client doesnât need coachingâŠ
âŠthen you probably wonât offer them a discovery session.
Why?
A good person wouldnât offer coaching to someone who doesn’t need it.
And youâre a good person, right?
Instead, adopt the Mindset of Abundant Discovery Sessions: âThis
particular person needs a discovery session.â
Itâs true, isnât it?
EVERYONE needs coaching.
EVERYONE has blind spots.
EVERYONE would achieve their goals faster and easier if they had coaching.
Coaching is something everyone deserves.
Coaching is something everyone deserves.”
No matter how successful and impressive your prospective clients seemâŠ
Donât they have bad habits?
Donât they have a relationship that could be improved?
Donât they have room to improve their health, family, or finances?
Disempowering Mindset #3: âI NEED this client.â
If you think you need a clientâŠ
âŠthen youâll stumble as you attempt to schedule their discovery session.
If youâre needy enough, youâll get so intimidatedâŠ
âŠthat you wonât even attempt to offer a discovery session.
Coaches stuck in this mindset feel like the client is CaesarâŠ
âŠand they are a Gladiator in the Roman Colosseum.
All the client has to do is give a âthumbs downâ…

âŠand the coachâs day (life?) is ruined.
Sound ridiculous?
Sound over the top?
Sound childish?
Itâs ABSOLUTELY how many coaches feel.
BOTTOM LINE: Needing clients to validate you is a recipe for failure.

YES, you do need paying clients in your coaching business.
BUT, no ONE client is âlife or deathâ for your business.

âŠmore than YOU benefit from that discovery session.
THEY get priceless breakthroughs and rare insights.
YOU give up a part of your afternoon without getting paid.
You can always work with another client.
There are MILLIONS of people who could become your client.
However, your client only has ONE life.
And there arenât unlimited coaches on the planet.
If your potential client doesn’t have a coachâŠ
âŠthey miss out on a key life success advantage.
Donât allow their continued suffering!
Offer them a discovery session and give them a chance to change their life.
That discovery session is FOR THEMâŠ
âŠNOT for YOU.
THEY may need it.
YOU never do.
