Psychology Coaching: Mindset Coaching To Help Your Client Become A Positive Person

How do you help your psychology coaching (mindset coaching) client to become a positive person? Many people believe they are a negative person. When giving them psychology coaching, you may ask them this question: “Why do you BELIEVE you’re a negative person?” They will probably say something like, “Because my family is negative.” Your mindset coaching client may believe that being a negative person is inherited, like blue eyes or brown hair.

Your psychology coaching client may have a negative mindset. If your client needs mindset coaching, it will show itself through their beliefs. They will believe that good things only happen to people who “got lucky.” They often believe successful people probably got there by cheating, lying or stepping on a better person. They see victims and unfairness everywhere. They will often easily accept excuses that take responsibility for their life off of them, and onto someone or something else. This is where mindset coaching comes into play.

Your psychology coaching client will need powerful mindset coaching to change their negative beliefs. When your client is a positive person, they will believe the world is a good place mostly filled with good people. They will believe that this is the best time to be alive in the history of the world. They will not think that the problems in the world don’t exist. They will feel that problems have always existed and they will be focused on solutions and not the problems. They will be more interested in what can be done to improve things, rather than on who is to blame for what has happened in the past.

Help your psychology coaching client to understand, that their outside world will look just like their inner world or attitude. Give them mindset coaching to create doubt about the negative belief, and build proof that a positive view of the world is more accurate. Help your psychology coaching client develop an understanding that what happens to them in life, is caused by their actions. They are responsible for themselves and it isn’t anybody else’s fault. If you do this, they will become a person that stops making excuses. They will get busy changing things they are not happy with. If they can’t change it, like the weather, they will accept it. They will have more friends because they will stop complaining, and they will find that happiness and success is attracted into their lives.
