What to Know About The Christian Coach Institute’s Training Program

The organization provides what they call a unique online classroom experience with small classes and customized attention. They strive to ensure that every coaching student can be useful, successful, and credible in their professional coaching careers and coaching ministries. The ICF accredits the CCI for eighty coach-specific training hours (ACSTH). They are also an approved training provider for the Center for Credentials and Education (126 hours).

Certified Professional Life Coach Training – This is a 16-week program. Upon completing the CPLC course, individuals receive eighty ICF Coach Specific Training Hours. The program exceeds the training hours required to become ICF members and apply for ICF Certification.

ICF Mentor Coaching– The International Coach Federation (ICF) requires ten hours of work with a mentor coach for ACC or PCC applicants who are submitting for certification. The training includes:

A complete self-assessment of each of the eleven ICF Core Competencies to identify strengths and focus area
A comprehensive study of each of the eleven ICF Core Competencies

Three hours of individual mentor coaching with Janice (monthly one-hour sessions over three months).

DISC Training and Certification (This program is ideal for consultants, coaches, managers, human resources professionals, business leaders, and Christian ministries).

Group Coaching Mastery – This program consists of six weekly “live” online webinars using Zoom meetings. It is a comprehensive training covering things like ICF Core Competencies in Group Coaching and Understanding DISC Dynamics in Groups and Teams.
