You’re gripping the sides of the car for dear life or wedging your body with your legs so you can raise your arms over head and look cool.

Riding the roller coaster career as a life coach is too much for most people, who prefer the stability of the kiddie rides. The closer you get to taking that first plunge, the more the fear comes up. Some people never get on the ride. They become seminar junkies or lifetime students, never feeling quite ready to get their career off the ground. The closer you get, the more uncertain you become. Just like on a roller coaster, however, once you get through the first steep dives you realize that you really won’t die. As you gain confidence, you’ll realize that holding on to the safety rails doesn’t really make a difference. There is no certainty in a life coach career. There is only contribution and a guarantee that no matter what happens, you will grow in the process of finding ways to make a bigger difference in the lives of your clients.
