Systems are basically ordered plans for what needs to be done at each step along the way. You can have an intake system for new clients. You can have various follow-up systems for leads from different sources. You can have a system that you take your clients through during their actual coaching program. Anything you do repeatedly deserves a system. Figure out and write down all the steps you use. It will take a big chunk of time when you first do it, but it will pay huge dividends.

Scripts Will Increase Your Life Coaching Income

Do scripts connote infomercials and boring speeches to you? Well, forget those. A script is defined as words in sequence that have meaning. In this case, the scripts you need to write are actually a subset of the systems you will be setting up. Take each system and make a list of the conversations you have repeatedly within it. These will include your complimentary sessions, your elevator speech, your responses to objections when you are selling your programs, and many many others. It will be a long list, but make a start. People respond in predictable ways, and with trials and error and practice, you will find the words to predictably get the responses you want to increase your life coaching income.

Stick-To-Itiveness Will Grow Your Client Roster

Not a real word, I know. But absolutely critical to increase a life coach’s income. Master sales trainers will tell you not to give up until your potential client “buys or dies.” As a coach, it’s more accurate and considerably more palatable to say don’t give up until your potential client buys or tells you in no uncertain terms that he isn’t interested and doesn’t want to hear from you again. But if you persist in showing interest and building a relationship over time with your perspective client, your persistence may pay off in the form of a new client.
