Taking Your Life Coaching Career To New Heights in 2011

If you want more out of your life coaching career in 2011 than you had in 2010, you need to grow. As Calvin Coolidge said, “All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort, and effort means work.” At the start of a journey, you usually have support. Think about the early world explorers or space shuttle launches. After the launch or send off, however, comes the long lonely process. That is where the challenges and obstacles come up. This same is true as you embark on your journey to take your life or career to the next level. It means long hours of work and some type of suffering.

Visualize What You Want From Your Life Coaching Career

How do you keep going forward in your life coaching career through all the obstacles? One of the best coaching tools is to create a ritual or habit that you do on a daily basis. As you do this, all your other habits and activities will benefit as well. The obstacles that knock most people out of the race won’t stop you.

All you need to do is to take 2-3 minutes daily to close your eyes and visualize the life coaching career of your dreams. Ask yourself why you’re doing this, who will you become, and what is the light at the end of the tunnel. Allowing yourself to experience this life before it happens will provide motivation to continue despite the obstacles that inevitably come up.

What If You Can’t Motivate Yourself To Motivate Yourself?

As simple as this is, most people won’t do this. Few people will see real changes in their life coaching careers. When you create these rituals and do the easy part, you will be able to do the work most people never do. When you are committed to do the work on an ongoing basis, it’s only a matter of time before you start moving ahead of all the others. Not only will your life coaching career never be the same, but you will inspire others.
