Life Coach Marketing: What’s In A Name?

When you are developing your life coach marketing plan, one of the most critical elements is choosing a name for your business. For some, their business names seems obvious. For others though, the decision can be extremely challenging. So here is some information on “what’s in a name” in terms of marketing your life coaching business.

Know Your Life Coach Marketing Niche To Find A Name

If you are training as a life coach, or in the early stages of your coaching career, you are probably still coaching everyone who comes to you. You might not even know yet what particular type of coaching you want to do. But if you are planning on marketing your services on the internet and you want to be successful, you must choose a niche for your life coach marketing. Marketing to everyone won’t attract anyone, because marketing works by appealing to prominent emotions. A 40 year old stay at home mom and a 40 year old single businesswoman probably won’t be drawn by the same name or the same advertising. Take the time to really explore the clients in your niche. Find their fears, frustrations and desires, and design a name for your business that addresses their particular emotional hot buttons.

Your Business Name Should Make You Easy To Find

The business name you select for your life coach marketing should make it easy for your potential clients to find you online. Once you’ve identified your niche, make a list of possible keywords that you might want to include in the name you eventually choose. These should be derived from those fears frustrations and desires you found within your niche clients. You can then use the Google keyword search tool to narrow your list before you start searching for url availability.

Naming your business is simple in concept. With SEO to consider, however, as well as the connotations and emotional impact of the words you choose and the actual availability of the name, you do need to take a lot of factors into account. Thankfully, life coaches marketing both online and offline can use the internet to help maximize their success.
