Coaching Tips For More Time: A Strategy That Gets Results

May 6, 2010 by Jeffrey T. Sooey 1 Comment

There are so many coaching tips about time management that one could spend the rest of their life getting a system down.  But instead of time management coaching tips, what if you found a coaching strategy that made it simple?  The best coaching strategy is to understand there are two types of people: those who get things done, and those who don’t have time.

How Can You Find a Coaching Strategy That Helps You Become a Person That Gets Things Done?

In order to understand the coaching strategy for what works, you need to be clear on what doesn’t.  Researching coaching tips for time management online is not going to help you find time to do what you really want to do.  The truth about time management is that it’s not about time as much as it is about the emotion behind the time.  Usually that emotion is about lack of time, lack of accomplishing what is most important, and/or lack of time for yourself, etc.

If you look at what successful people do to get results, you can learn a rather simple coaching strategy.  Successful people get results by getting things done or by getting others to get things done for them.  Until you enter this elite group and start getting things done, no amount of coaching tips is going to help you.

Commitment is a Key Coaching Tip to Help You Get Things Done

So what is the coaching strategy to become one of the few people in the world who get things done?  Commitment.  When you learn to get things done that you commit to, no matter what, you enter the doorway into a new world.  There are things we want to do, need to do, wish were done; but when we do them we realize it wasn’t time holding us back in the first place.  It’s usually ourselves.  And if you buy into society’s lie that you just need a few more time management coaching tips to find time, you’ll miss the boat.

The best coaching strategy is to create a vision of what you really want, and commit to the actions (one by one) that will get you there.  Yes, you will have to face any fears, walls, or obstacles on that path to becoming a person who gets things done.  But at least you can start moving forward before you master all those time management coaching tips.
