What is Exactly is Executive Coaching, Anyway?

Executive coaching helps train leaders, executives, owners, and managers to get involved in identifying problems, developing and applying solutions for these problems, and assessing the results of these solutions.

Coaching is action-oriented and focuses on what is happening now (the present) and what can happen if changes or applied or not (the future).

A coach serves as an objective third party; one who is not associated with the company or influenced in any way by the executives and managers. The coach must be able to be free to offer to analyze information and offer unbiased help.

Why do Companies Hire Executive Coaches?

In a study by Diane E. Lewis, respondents were asked to identify the various reasons for hiring an executive coach. The top reasons were:

  • • (86%) To develop the leadership skills of high-potential individuals.
    • (70%) To correct behavioral problems at the management level.
    • (64%) To improve the odds that newly promoted managers would be successful.
    • (59%) To help leaders resolve interpersonal conflicts among employees.
    • (59%) To develop management and leadership skills among their technical people.

Dr. Joey Collins developed his Xcel Performance Executive Coaching products and the High Performance Executive Coaching program to help company leaders quickly and effectively improve performance for both themselves and their employees. Coaching sessions using this model focuses on helping clients recognize patterns of thinking and behavior that detracts from achieving specified goals. Once this behavior and thinking has been identified it can then be modified and improved. Xcel can help your company excel!

What Can Executive Coaching Do For Your Company?

Xcel Performance Executive Coaching and Collins Alliance can assist companies by enhancing their outcomes through focused consultation, planning, assessment, and change implementation. They provide customized personal development through training and executive coaching.

Executive Coaching Now Better Than Later

Executive coaching is not just for the big guys any more. Almost any company can use a helping hand when training its managers and executives. Executive coaching used to be a luxury only a few companies could afford. Now, executive coaching is a necessity only a few companies can afford to do without.

This type of coaching along with this program can help companies boost their sales and become very helpful in the workforce with the introduction of leadership skills and mamangement skills. This program is something to look forward to.

I agree that executive coaching are not only for those big shot companies but for small and medium businesses as well. The Xcel program is a very useful program for leaders, managers and supervisors who wish to move up the corporate ladder and be efficient in dealing with their staff and colleagues.
