What would you do if you had unlimited resources? Another question that helps define goals. Some clients think their goals require too much money or time, but when they take some time to truly ponder their goals, the often realize they are actually possible!
What is the outcomes you are seeking? This is the reason they hired you. It never hurts to be direct.
How would the desired outcome impact your life? This is a follow up to the previous question and these two should be on any top 10 life coaching questions list.
What brings you joy? This question redefines “success.” Personal happiness is just as important as success, though clients often ignore it in pursuit of achievement.
What steps can you take in the next two weeks to achieve your goals? This helps create a short-term, concrete plan to reach a goal. Taking baby steps first is one way to make those bigger steps come easier.
What do you want people to say about you at your funeral? Kind of a morbid question, but it should be on every top 10 life coaching questions list. It often makes the client realize that they may not be who they truly want to be. It’s one of the most powerful questions.
