Quality coaching tips often seem obvious to those both inside and outside coaching. However, the best coaching tips are not always obvious to everyone entering the coaching profession.

Information is Power (and Success) in the Coaching Industry
To paraphrase a quote attributed to Aristotle, the more you know, the more you know. Aristotle allegedly said; “the more you know, the more you know you don’t know (though it never directly translated as that).
No matter what that ancient Greek philosopher said, in the coaching business, the more you know, the more you know. Information is power. Knowledge is one of the main pathways to coaching success.
Quality coaching tips are an integral part of the needed information. The more quality information you know about how to coach effectively, the more you will have the solutions your clients are seeking. The more outcomes you can help your clients find, the more clients you’ll have! Simple as that! Now you know!
6 Less Obvious Quality Coaching Tips
These coaching tips may be obvious to some, but not everyone uses these suggestions to start or improve their coaching practices.
If you are already employing these quality coach tips in your practice – bravo!
IF not, take heed and get your coaching business moving forward so you can see more clients, more money, and more success!
Go Global
Coaching one-on-one in your local area is important to building success, but the world is flattened now, and it is easy to brand yourself nationally, or even globally. Don’t limit yourself locally – go global!
Give it Away for Free
You’ll make more money by giving your coaching expertise away for free. Huh? How does that work? If you can give some valuable coaching advice away to potential clients for free, they will see the value and quality in your coaching. Do this through landing pages, articles, blogs, or email newsletters. Don’t give the whole farm away, but a parcel or two works great!
Give it Away Inexpensively
On top of giving away some advice for free, you should also offer inexpensive packages to new clients. Your goal at the beginning is to get exposure. With this exposure, you can build a reputation. Your reputation will then attract more clients – at higher rate!
Use a Coach
This is one of those quality coaching tips that often gets overlooked. One of the best ways to improve your coaching skills is to get a coach for yourself. It doesn’t have to be in the same specialty: if you’re a life coach, you can use a money or health coach. This will give you insight and perspective from a client’s point of view.
Meditate
Yep, you read that right – meditate. Daily meditation helps you feel refreshed and clear your head. You can also offer tips on meditation to your clients. It’s not as difficult as you may believe.
If You Tell, make Sure it’s an Improvement Over Asking
This is a difficult one, but one of the most important quality coaching tips is to think about asking a question before you decide to tell someone something. In coaching, asking powerful questions is, well, powerful. However, there are times when you need to provide advice or information (tell); just make sure there’s not a question that will yield more results or dig deeper into a problem.
