Online Tip #1:  Do not send visitors from your paid advertisements to your homepage.  If you are paying for advertisements and sending them to your home page, most people will get lost or confused.  The result will be that they leave without opting in or buying.  Your ads should lead to a landing page that matches your ad as much as possible.  It should be crystal clear they have landed on the right place.

Online Tip #2:  Make sure the most important information goes above the fold.  According to studies, web users spend 80% of their time looking at information above the fold.  Only 20% of users will scroll down to view the lower portion of your page.  If you don’t catch their attention in the first half, you will lose them and the possibility of getting them involved in your life coaching business.

Online Tip #3:  Have a single focus.  A  landing page needs to have a clear outcome.  You want your life coaching business prospect to take action.  Usually it is to opt-in, subscribe to your newsletter, or purchase something.  If  they are not clear about what they need to do, they will jump to the next page.  Any distractions such as unnecessary information, unnecessary graphics, links or ads should be removed.
