My personal fitness coach was covering weight loss, physical activity, exercise, nutrition and the importance of sleep. Wow, was it all so confusing at first. So much information, so many books and references, where was I going to get the clarity? What should I do? My mind was ready to explode. Many of you may be in a similar place in your life where you are uncomfortable or downright disappointed. I know I was, but that’s all over now that I found my personalized fitness coaching program.
Let me assure you, you can take control of your personal life to including your health, no matter what your fitness goals are today. Your coach will mainly focus on lifestyle changes that include weight loss or weight management depending on what your target goal is and intertwines all other aspects of a healthy lifestyle as you progress.
I Want My Personal Fitness Coach to Fix Me Now
Change takes time. My personal fitness coach was sharing with me that it often takes up to 6-8 weeks for the lights to go on in your exercise program. This is what is referred to as neurological muscular wiring. This is your bodies was of saying “Hey Buddy” we’re making some changes here.
The reality is if you want to lose weight, get fit or simply live a healthier lifestyle, then some basics need to be covered first. Take a look around you. More and more people are gaining weight. This includes children, teenagers, adults and even the elderly. As people reflect out into the social mirror of life, they begin to rationalize that their current weight, level of fitness isn’t that bad. Compared to what I ask? This is your life, how do you want to look, feel or perform?
Listen to Your Fitness Coach!
It all starts with a decision. Decide what you want and then find a coach that you can say” This is my personal fitness coach.” They will be the one to help you get where you want to go. So as your coach, let’s get started. This is the fun part, eating. Focus on portion sizes; this is the key in the beginning. You see the problem is too many calories in and not enough calories out…being burned during physical activity. Exercise alone will not fix this problem, that’s why we must emphasis nutrition first.
So now you ask, what do I eat?
Basically eat lean meats and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit like 2-3 pieces, little starch…maybe an ice cream scoop or two of the starches if any at all, and no added sugar. Keep your selections simple and remember your portion control.
My Personal Fitness Coach Says: Exercise
A personal exercise program that consist of daily walks, some full body movements 2-3 times per week like body squats, push-ups, sit-ups and a couple of sprints will do the trick. Follow this up with adequate hydration and significant sleeping patterns. Don’t forget to get your vitamin “D” by soaking up some of Mother Nature’s natural sunlight. My personal fitness coach helps me to look on the brighter, healthier and more vibrant side of life. Hope yours does too, be good to yourself.
