Starting a life coaching practice is a commitment. A commitment that you can enjoy investing in if you follow these fun tips.
Fun Tip One: Get a Life Coach for Yourself
The first thing you want to do before starting a life coaching practice is, get yourself a life coach. Yes, I understand that if you are thinking of starting a life coach practice, then you are, clearly, a life coach. Ok, THAT IS EXACTLY WHY YOU NEED ONE OF YOUR OWN!!!
Do you want people to believe in what you have to offer?
How can you prove to your clients that life coaches transform lives?
What is an easy way to convince someone of the value of a life coach?
Did you figure out the answer yet my friend?
That is RIGHT. It is fun to have someone to check in with each week to teach you how to be awesome. So why would you miss out?
How will having a life coach for your self help you in starting a successful life coaching practice?
Your coach will:
- Set you up for success
- Hold you accountable to your goals
- Help you to stay organized, balanced and focused
- Open your eyes to techniques you may not use
- Give you something to talk about and relate to with your clients
- Provide you stories to help create rapport and trust with your own clients
Fun Tip Two: Collaborate With Friends for Immediate Success in Starting a Life Coaching Practice
One of the easiest ways to start a life coaching practice is to get together with other coaches and change some lives. For my very first workshop I got together with a couple of girlfriends and started throwing out ideas. One of my friends had a passion for nutrition and the other was a certified fitness instructor. Together we began throwing ideas around. Each of us were able to contribute unique skills. The result was a workshop that offered 3 experts and one hell of a health, body and mind transformation for our clients! It felt more like a gift giving girlfriend party then starting a life coaching practice. What could be better than that?
Starting a life coaching practice does not have to be all business, marketing and work. You can have a blast changing lives!
Get yourself a coach and keep an eye out for inspiring people in your circle of friends who are open to collaborate. Have fun, while you make money and contribute to changing people’s lives.

These are some great ideas that you came up with for becoming a life coach. That is why I do a lot of freebies. Its easier to learn and grow in the beginning of coaching before I start charging for my services.

Justin,
Def a great idea to offer your services for free, you are so smart to do that and also make sure to value yourself and others will too!
