The Wellcoaches Wellness Coaching Certification Process

• Complete their Core Coach Training program. You have 12 months following the completion of the program to finish the components needed for certification.
• Complete lesson feedback surveys (one each week for the 18-week course, and one for the four-day course).
• Pay the fee ($650)
• Provide proof of prerequisites – Associates Degree or higher needed to become a Certified Personal Coach; Bachelor’s Degree or higher in one of several areas (counseling, exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, health studies, occupational therapy, and others). A license in various health related fields, or a bachelor’s Degree in an unrelated field and a certification in a health-related field will also suffice.

2 Coach Certification Options

The Wellcoaches Wellness Coaching Certification comes in two flavors: certification as a Personal Coach or a Health and Wellness Coach. The personal coach is similar to a life coach and doesn’t focus specifically on health and wellness while the health and wellness coach is more specialized.
