Before you start training to become a life coach, you should know which coaching style best describes how you operate.  Some people are more suited to become a life coach than others.  We all have our own behavioral styles, ways of interacting with people, strengths and weaknesses.  Knowing your strengths will help you choose the best training to become a life coach.  The most common categories of coaches can be explained by looking the Seven Dwarfs.  What dwarf will you become a life coach like?

When You Become a Life Coach Determine What Qualities You Possess and Utilize Them

If you’re like Grumpy, the best fit for you is to become a life coach who specializes in accountability coaching.  You’ll find it hard to establish rapport, so you might want to partner with someone who is a little softer.  What about Sleepy?  If you’re like this dwarf, once you make it through your training to become a life coach you’ll get by.  And if you do become a coach like Sleepy, you’ll be great at using stories, metaphors, and hypnotic techniques.  Working with Grumpy will help keep you on task.

If you want to become a life coach and you’re like Sneezy, please take care of your health before you get started.  You’ll never be able to have the focus you need to get great results with your clients, and people will tend to feel sorry for you instead of see you as a leader.  Perhaps partnering with Doc might be a good idea.  But if you’re like Doc you’ll have your own set of challenges if you decide to become a life coach.  You’ll have a tendency to take every training to become a life coach imaginable before you get on the court.  Make sure your training to become a life coach includes opportunities to start coaching people right away or you’ll never quite feel ready.  But once you get started you’ll probably end up becoming a neuro-linguistics programming (NLP) specialist.

Initially I thought we should all strive to become a life coach like Happy.  But having access to only one emotion isn’t advantageous.  Partnering with someone like Bashful might be a good idea.  If you’re most like Bashful, you’ll probably know your coaching technologies better than most.  But you’ll definitely need training to become a life coach that includes internet marketing in order to survive.
