Success Coaching Prices Matter

October 14, 2016 by Fred Phillips 1 Comment

Success coaching has become a big deal as more and more people want to find success in their lives and careers, but are they concerned with success coaching prices or are other factors more important? When individuals are looking to hire a success coach, does the success coach price matter more than other considerations, such as reputation, specialty, experience, training, etc.?

Success Coaching Prices Matter

Most people don’t have unlimited wealth, and for most of those people, prices do matter. Even if money is no real object or obstacles, most individuals want to a solid return on their investment. The higher your prices, the more you better offer to your clients!

To get clients, reputation, experience, marketing, and referrals all matter. However, what you charge will be an important consideration for many potential clients. You are free to set your pricing however you want, but it is important to recognize that your prices will be one of the factors that determine your success as a success coach.

How to Charge for Your Coaching Services

There are three main ways that coaches charge:

  • By the session.
  • By the month.
  • By the package.

There are two good benefits to attractive success coaching prices by the package.

  • It helps to make income more predictable and stable as you will have a known quantity of paying clients for a specified amount of time.
  • It helps to attract the right type of client. Clients who pay for long-term (or even short-term) packages are showing a willingness to invest in coaching. They are not just kicking the tires and looking under the hood. They are more serious and more likely to achieve the results they want. If you find more outcomes for more clients, your reputation as a coach skyrockets!

How to Create an Attractive Coaching Practice

The first thing to do is to decide the length of the package and the number of sessions. For example, you can offer three months with two sessions per month. Having a few different options will allow you to draw in more clients and serve a bigger segment of your target market.

The next step is to determine what additional services or add-ons you want to offer. You can offer a few free services but you can also adjust your success coaching prices to accommodate add-ons and perks that give the client more for their money.

How to Decide on Prices?

Deciding what prices to charge for your services is one of the most difficult things to do. You need to base your prices on experience, competitor pricing, training, and how many clients you want to coach. It takes a little research to set the right pricing, and then it takes a little patience to see if you have selected correctly.

Having different pricing to choose from will help you attract and retain more clients – one-on-one, group, and package pricing. The more choices you have for success coaching prices, the more alternatives you will offer for individuals seeking your services.
