Real success coaching won’t automatically turn anyone into an overnight success. I don’t care how good a coach you are, you can’t make anyone become a success. You can give them information, tools, support, and encouragement, but it’s up to them if they want to become a real success!

The Definition of Success
Success means different things to different people. It’s up to you as a coach to find out a client’s definition of success. Through active listening and interviewing you can help a client identify goals; these goals are reflective of a client’s definition of success. Knowing how a client defines success will help create an action plan to reach their goals, and help your coaching help more clients find more successful outcomes.
Real Success Coaching to Become a Really Successful Coach
Real success coaching that gets results begins with determining if the client is committed to achieving success. You can’t force someone to desire success. You’ll never achieve the desired outcomes unless the client is truly dedicated to putting in the work to become successful.
Real successful coaching is all about getting to know your client before anything else!
How to Get Results as a Success Coach
Know the following about success before you start promoting yourself as a success coach, and before you start trying to help people find the pathways to success:
- Anyone can be successful. Everyone has a goal or a dream, and reaching that goal or dream is one of the definitions of success. The first key to being a successful success coach is to know what your client really wants.
- Though anyone can be successful, not everyone is committed to putting in the time and hard work to reach that success. The second most important key to being a real success coaching success is to find out if your client is willing, ready, and able to actually make the effort to become a success.
- Instant success is about as real as a get-rich-quickly scheme. Success takes time and almost assuredly won’t happen overnight. Both you and your client must be patient.
- Information alone won’t make someone successful. Information is a component of success, but just giving your client the right information won’t result in success – it depends on what they do with the information.
- Once you know that your client is committed to success, understand that there will be times when doubt and pessimism creeps in to the plans. This is where you offer support, encouragement, motivation, and encouragement.
Be a Successful Success Coach
Real success coaching happens when the talents of the coach and the client merge, when both sides are committed to the process of identifying and attaining goals, and when each side buckles down and does the work.
Though it’s great to want to work with as many clients as possible; however, not all clients truly want to be successful. To be a successful success coach, there may come a time when you need to jettison clients because they just aren’t committed to the process. The right coach (you) plus the right client (one committed to working toward success) will equal success!

Man do I agree with this! Someone may be a great coach but your client can only be considered as a success if he/she wants to succeed.
