What is Motivational Coaching?

Here are a few of the ways you can help clients when you become a motivational coach:

  • Help clients identify and clarify their goals.
  • Help clients recognize their core issues and obstacles.
  • Delve into a client’s true motivations and passions.
  • Find methods that clients can use to motivate and inspire themselves.
  • Help clients construct and implement new attitudes.
  • Help clients visualize what a life filled with motivation can achieve and accomplish.
  • Give clients an occasional kick in the butt!

Does this sound like something you want to do? If so, then you need to know how to become a motivational coach!

How to Become a Motivational Coach in 5 Steps

Step 1

How to become a motivational coach begins with setting a goal. Before you do anything, you should identify and set some goals. What type of coach do you want to be – strictly motivational, life, fitness, health, money, etc.? Where do you see yourself in 5 years, 10 years, or more? What do you want financially, personally, or in your career? Make your goals measurable and actionable, and make sure you have both specific and general goals.

Step 2

Get trained. There is no time like the present to get started on your training. You need to accumulate skills and knowledge if you want to be able to offer desired outcomes to your clients. The right coaching program – one that fits your schedule and budget, one that is comprehensive, and one with an impeccable reputation – is a great place to start. But, remember that your education never ends. As long as you are a coach, you will need to pursue new training, skills, theories, and knowledge.

Step 3

Take Action. Once you have completed training, it’s time to step up to the plate and begin your career as a coach. Whether you look for a job or you start your own business, you’ll never be a coach unless you take the necessary steps to start your career – now!

Step 4

Make connections. Every other coach should be thought of as a connection instead of a competitor. Every business leader or community member should be viewed as a connection. Everything you can do to know others and get known should be done. Coaching sometimes seems like a solitary profession (just you and the client), but success is all about connections.

Step 5

Here it comes – the most dreaded step for many. Marketing and promotion is the life blood of your business. You have to find ways to market, test, assess, try something new, and try again. You can’t be a motivational coach, or any other type of coach if you don’t focus on marketing and promotion. How to become a motivational coach really begins and ends with marketing!

Would you like an endless stream of new coaching clients? Simply fill out the form to the right with your first name and email and I’ll send you free videos with step-by-step blueprints for generating a massive income from high paying coaching clients.
