Getting unstuck means to throw off the shackles caused by financial burdens and problems. But, can you get unstuck just by reading a book? Most people can’t.

• Evaluate that list for any unnecessary expenses and then eliminate them.
• See what you can do to start paying off credit card debt and then your loans. It is often easier than you think to pay down this debt.
• Make sure you have the cheapest recurring expenses possible – check out ways to save on cable, phone, Internet, groceries, and more.
• Look over all your bills (especially credit card bills) and make sure there are no unknown or fraudulent charges.
• Talk with your spouse and family about spending.
• Make a budget.
• Keep to that budget.
All these tips can help you become financially unstuck. Money coach or no money coach, there are many ways to help you get debt free and start living the life you want. Get unstuck – money coach or not, you can’t live your life paycheck to paycheck and credit card to credit card.

Yes, you can take your own steps to start cleaning up your financial mess, but many people find this difficult to do without some help and advice.
