I\u2019m always trying to improve in my\u00a0coaching career<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, wondering how\u00a0I become a coach<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0who provides value to my clients on a higher level each session. I\u2019ve been wondering how\u00a0I become a coach<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00a0who really can lead anyone toward success. Of all the definitions I\u2019ve heard about what is a leader, the one that sticks most in my mind is \u201ca leader goes first.\u201d I think about this often, because I know if I want people to follow my coaching I need to go first.<\/span><\/p>\n

So what do I need to do?
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

One Thing I Know is That<\/span>\u00a0I Become a Coach<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Who Others Follow When I Get Coaching Myself<\/span><\/h3>\n

If I don\u2019t get coaching, do\u00a0<\/span>I become a coach<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00a0wh<\/span>o lies to people, telling them how valuable coaching is? I\u2019d be a hypocrite, and loose all credibility in my\u00a0<\/span>coaching career<\/strong><\/span><\/span>. But beyond that, I know that if I want to achieve new goals within my\u00a0<\/span>coaching career<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00a0I need a guide. Sometimes it\u2019s just someone holding my hand as I cross a big hurdle, and other times it feels like someone is pushing me out of an airplane. Parachute or no parachute, I have to admit that sometimes I\u2019m scared to take that next step in my own\u00a0<\/span>coaching career<\/span><\/span><\/span>.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

However, By Doing This,<\/span>\u00a0I Become a Coach<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Who is Willing to Expand My Comfort Zone Within My Own C<\/span>oaching Career<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and Lif<\/span>e<\/h3>\n

My husband recently met an expert in his own field. This man said the key to his success was doing one thing outside his comfort zone every day. He sounded like a coach, but he wasn\u2019t. My husband said the guy reminded him of me when he said that. I wished I was on top of things that much, so recently I took on the challenge to do \u201cone brave thing\u201d every day. Does pulling out a loose tooth for your 7 year old daughter count? It\u2019s much scarier than contacting someone about a new joint venture project, and that has opened up a whole new world of opportunities.<\/p>\n

Great coaching.<\/p>\n

Not from myself, but from a team. I have one coach who helped define this strategy, and another who provides accountability. Between the two of them there is no way out but straight through any blocks that are bound to come up, and my view of my\u00a0coaching career<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/a>will never be the same.<\/p>\n
