In fact, when researching \u201cCoach U\u201d I discovered that it was founded in the United States in 1992. In 1997 \u201cCoach U\u201d founded the International Coaches Federation (ICF). If I was a conspiracy buff I might wonder if there is some sort of conspiracy going on here, but since I\u2019m not, suffice it to say, I find this a very interesting and an unusual piece of trivia.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_19782\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19782\" style=\"width: 848px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-19782 size-full\" title=\"Coach U\" src=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/37761042_m.jpg\" alt=\"Coach U\" width=\"848\" height=\"565\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/37761042_m.jpg 848w, https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/37761042_m-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/37761042_m-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-19782\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Coach U<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>An International Coaching School<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Coach U<\/strong> also has another branch called Corporate Coach U, which seems to be slightly different than <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Coach U<\/span>, although in all their statements they combine the two. For example, they boast that <strong>Coach U<\/strong> and Corporate Coach U coaches currently work with more than 50,000 people per week. That is not surprising, seeing as they have a global reach with franchises in Canada, Europe, South Korea, Brazil, Poland, Greece, Japan and Australia, in addition to having international students from another 51 countries.<\/p>\n<h3>Studies at Coach U<\/h3>\n<p>I have not personally taken courses from either <strong>Coach U<\/strong> or Corporate Coach U, so I cannot say what the differences exist between the two. I assume <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Coach U<\/span> is training for the individual person looking for a vocation as a career or business coach, whereas Corporate Coach U majors on training you to be a corporate coach.<\/p>\n<p>They have nine guiding principles that people:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have something in common<\/li>\n<li>Are inquisitive<\/li>\n<li>Contribute<\/li>\n<li>Seek Value<\/li>\n<li>Act in their own interest<\/li>\n<li>Live from their perception<\/li>\n<li>Have a choice<\/li>\n<li>Define their own integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Coach U<\/strong> and Corporate Coach U programs are based around these nine principles. It seems they specialize in life, career, business or corporate coaching and if you are interested in any of these areas to provide your clients with services, they say that \u201cyou will be pleased with their programs.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Draw Backs<\/h3>\n<p>One drawback of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Coach U<\/span> as far as I can tell, is that it doesn\u2019t have a marketing program to help you get your business off the ground. I may be mistaken, but hey, you can\u2019t have everything.<\/p>\n<h3>In Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>In my mind\u2019s eye I see a sign with a big finger pointing straight at you saying, \u201cCoach U wants U.\u201d Funny picture. Anyway, if you want to get some more coach training it might be just the place to check out.
