Various colleges are now providing a life coaching degree<\/a>. \u00a0Here are a few of them:<\/div>\n

  • Howard Community College offers a Professional Coaching program. \u00a0This isn’t a life coaching degree<\/strong> in and of itself, but it’s a ‘college’ course, which helps with some of the credibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    • Massachusetts School Of Professional Psychology offers the “GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN\u00a0EXECUTIVE COACHING PROGRAM (GCEC)”. \u00a0This is as close to a life coaching degree<\/strong> as you’ll get without going to Columbia University (I hear)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

          Many organizations offer a chance to become a certified life coach<\/strong>. \u00a0A few options:<\/div>\n

          ICF offers many coaching schools that offer certifications and chances to become a certified life coach<\/span>.<\/div>\n
          <\/div>\n
          JTS Advisors offers several different\u00a0opportunities\u00a0to become a certified life coach<\/span> in disciplines such as Accountability\u00a0Coaching, Strategy Coaching, Assessment Coaching, and Master Coach counseling strategies as well.<\/div>\n

          Other Certifications (Other Than a Certified Life Coach Track):<\/h3>\n
          You may need to look for certifications outside of the coaching world, because those certifications\u00a0may offer more important skills than even the coaching certifications or life coaching degrees<\/span> do (for your particular focus).<\/div>\n

          Life Coaching Training<\/h3>\n
          Many trainings that don’t offer a chance to become a certified life coach are very valuable and shouldn’t be passed up just<\/div>\n

          because of their non-certification status. \u00a0Just as there are very few life coaching degrees<\/span>, there are very few coaching schools that give you the certifications that are widely accepted. \u00a0Some of the best training can be gotten from schools that don’t offer certification.<\/div>\n

          Just Do It (No Training)<\/h3>\n
          You always have the option to just go out and start coaching and see what happens. \u00a0these\u00a0opportunities for life coaching degrees and to become a certified life coach will always be there\u00a0waiting for you to be ready for them. \u00a0As they say, when the student is ready the teacher appears!<\/div>\n
