I challenge you to see any similarities in your life coaching caree<\/a>r <\/strong>and this story.\u00a0\u00a0A blind boy was sitting against a building on a busy city street.\u00a0\u00a0He held up a sign that said, \u201cI\u2019m blind, please help.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0In an upside down hat between his feet some people had thrown a few coins.\u00a0\u00a0A man came up to him and asked if he could take his sign for a moment, and used the back side to create a new message.\u00a0\u00a0Soon the hat began to fill up as people read the sign as they walked by.\u00a0\u00a0When the man came back to check on the progress the boy asked what he had written on the sign.\u00a0\u00a0The man replied, \u201cI only took what you had written and said it in a different way.\u00a0\u00a0I wrote, \u2018Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Truth In Advertising<\/h3>\n

Both signs told people the same thing, which was the boy was blind.\u00a0\u00a0But the second sign was much more powerful because it told people that they were fortunate to be able to see.\u00a0\u00a0It was creative and innovative.\u00a0\u00a0It was a gift.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s no wonder it was a much more effective tool in getting people to make donations.<\/p>\n
