{"id":4686,"date":"2010-09-23T06:00:38","date_gmt":"2010-09-23T06:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/?p=4686"},"modified":"2016-08-26T10:30:02","modified_gmt":"2016-08-26T18:30:02","slug":"the-pains-and-pleasure-of-blogging-when-you-become-a-coach-part-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/the-pains-and-pleasure-of-blogging-when-you-become-a-coach-part-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"The Pains And Pleasure Of Blogging When You Become A Coach: Part II"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you want to use the internet to get client leads when you <a title=\"become a coach\" href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/using-olympic-strategies-to-become-a-life-coach-becoming-a-coach\/2879\/\"><strong>become a coach<\/strong><\/a>, you need to have a blog and post on it regularly \u201ccome hell or high water.\u201d\u00a0 That is something I\u2019ve learned as part of the blogging team for the JTS Advisors coaches training blog.\u00a0 In a previous post, I wrote about some of the pleasures I\u2019ve discovered as part of the team.\u00a0 But it isn\u2019t all fun and games when you take blogging as a serious daily responsibility.\u00a0 So today you\u2019ll hear about some of the pain involved in the process, like the fact that it\u2019s 2:30 am right now as I am writing this because I have a deadline!<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong> The Integrity You Learn When You Become A Coach Applies To Blogging<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For marketing when you <strong>become a coach<\/strong>, there\u2019s not much point in erratic or infrequent blogging except as writing practice.\u00a0 At coaches training blog we have a commitment as a team to get seven blogs posted every week.\u00a0 That means that we need to keep track of who\u2019s doing what and how many blogs are available for posting.\u00a0 It also means that occasionally someone sends out an urgent message saying she just can\u2019t do it that day, and can someone else submit something.\u00a0 It\u2019s a matter of doing what you commit to doing and always being in communication with everyone else involved\u2013accountability as everyone on the blogging team has learned it to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">become a coach<\/span> through JTS.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Time Is A Major Issue <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As a staff writer at coaches training blog when we only had two writers, I committed to writing 4 articles a week, so we could have one out every day and some for back-up.\u00a0 The problem was that each blog post took me 3-4 hours to write.\u00a0 That\u2019s a lot of hours, and if you are as slow as I was, it doesn\u2019t leave much time to <strong>become a coach<\/strong> who actually coaches people!\u00a0 You can buy articles, but of course they won\u2019t be in your voice.\u00a0\u00a0 Not only that, but when you first <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">become a coach<\/span> you may not have the money to purchase them.\u00a0 I\u2019m quicker now, usually 1-2 hours each, but it\u2019s still very time consuming, and at the moment I\u2019m not even writing for my own blog.\u00a0 I don\u2019t have the time!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Finding Keywords Can Be A Challenge<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The other problem I frequently have is finding the right keywords for each blog.\u00a0 Quite a lot of time goes on this particular aspect of blogging because it\u2019s important for SEO (search engine optimization), and that\u2019s important for people to find the blog.\u00a0 It can be very frustrating to have a topic I would like to share, and have to struggle to title it in keyword terms and use them throughout the article.<\/p>\n<p>Were these insights from a newbie blogger\u2019s perspective interesting to you?\u00a0\u00a0 Let me know.\u00a0 In another article, I\u2019ll give you more details on the nitty gritty of blog writing.<\/p>\n<div><em>By the way\u2026 you\u2019re invited to claim your FREE step-by-step \u201c<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.coachestrainingblog.com\/sp.php?adsource=blogtext\" target=\"_blank\">Master Coach Blueprint<\/a><\/strong>\u201d video toolkit.
