Business coaching<\/span><\/a><\/strong> is more than helping others achieve their goals.\u00a0 It’s about stepping up into leadership.\u00a0 Until you become a leader you won’t get many coaching clients; especially business clients.\u00a0 How do you become a business coach who walks their walk?<\/div>\n

Here are the six steps to your success in business coaching<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Get clarity on your business goals, including your business coaching<\/strong><\/span><\/a> goals.\u00a0 You need absolute clarity.\u00a0 Enough clarity so you can communicate your goals to another person and have that person understand them clearly.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Develop the mindset to achieve your goals. Not just doing the same things that you’ve done before expecting something different; that’s the definition of insanity.\u00a0 Prepare yourself to step outside your comfort zone on an ongoing basis.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Take the time to develop a strategic plan before you start working on tactics.\u00a0 Running circles around a tree all day may look like massive action, but it’s not going to get you far.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

4.\u00a0Create a process for accountability.\u00a0 Left to our own devices people don’t change.\u00a0 It’s not because you can’t, it’s because you have a built in navigational system that is pre-programmed.\u00a0 Changing the course of direction in your life is like changing the course of direction of a boat or plane that has a pre-set course.\u00a0 Once you take your hands off the wheel, the navigation program self corrects and keeps you going toward your pre-programmed destination.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You need accountability to maintain your focus and make sure you take consistent action.<\/div>\n

5.\u00a0 Reassess your plan and modify accordingly at regular intervals.\u00a0 You want to make sure you are on course and also make sure your strategy is effective.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Become the person who can achieve the goal.\u00a0 If you want to be successful in business coaching<\/span>, you need to make sure you play to win.\u00a0 You can’t decide you’re going to play well when you get to the championships; you have to play each game to win so you get there.\u00a0 The order to success is\u00a0Be, Do, Have.<\/div>\n
