Some things in the coaching business are fun\u2026 no doubt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But some of the stuff you\u2019ll do in your coaching business is not about having fun<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n it\u2019s about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026you get the idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The good news?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Most people can handle doing some things that aren\u2019t fun<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For example, my wife, Maribel, just came into my office to ask me,<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWill you build a website for my business?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n ME: \u201cWhy do you want me to do that?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n WIFE: \u201cBecause I don\u2019t know how<\/span>. You know all about websites<\/span>, so you do it!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n ME: \u201cWhy don\u2019t you try to do it yourself<\/span>, and then, if you have trouble, I\u2019ll help you?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n WIFE: \u201cPlease, honey, just do it FOR ME. I can\u2019t do it myself<\/span>!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n ME: \u201cNo. Go do it<\/span> and let me know if you need help.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n (Please don\u2019t judge me\u2026 sometimes I’m less than helpful, like Dr. Coiner talks about HERE<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Two hours later, my wife comes back with a big smile on her face\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m going to get my website!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n ME: \u201cDid you need my help?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n WIFE: \u201cNo, I know what I need to do now.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n ME: \u201cI knew you could do it. You just didn\u2019t want to do it at first\u2026 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n because it\u2019s not fun for you<\/span>.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n So many of us stop ourselves from doing simple things just because they\u2019re not fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But almost everyone can handle those things<\/span>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026once they get past their resistance<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you\u2019re willing to do things that aren\u2019t fun\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026you can get your coaching business started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you\u2019re willing to do things that aren\u2019t fun\u2026you can get your coaching business started.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n But, to have a truly successful coaching business?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of these things might include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n And the list doesn\u2019t stop there. Not even close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The point?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hard things begin to crop up early on in your coaching business journey\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026which is when most new coaches quit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You\u2019ve got to have a good relationship with doing hard things<\/span> in your business.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You\u2019ve got to have a good relationship with doing hard things<\/span> in your business.<\/strong>“<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n \u2026 you\u2019re actually a pretty rare coach<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The rare<\/span> coaches\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026they\u2019re the ones that are destined for success<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But what if the typically \u201chard parts\u201d of the coaching business \u2026were easy?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Can you imagine that?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Part of what makes the coaching business hard\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026is a lack of imagination<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026is coaches doing things the way that everyone else does<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026is accepting \u201cthe hard way\u201d as an unchangeable reality<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The coaching business needs some creative problem-solving<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n But, if that\u2019s true (and here\u2019s something weird)\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Since coaches tend to be more on the creative side<\/span>\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026then many of them must not be using those creative faculties in their businesses<\/span>!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Perhaps there\u2019s a limiting belief<\/span> some coaches have about their business\u2026?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026that business is not creative<\/span>?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026that business is always hard, brutal, ugly, and just no fun<\/span>?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n (NOTE: If you\u2019ve been waiting to start your coaching business, or were wondering if you can do it profitably, then you need to watch this video<\/a><\/strong>. Click HERE now<\/a><\/strong> to watch the video<\/a><\/strong>.)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ll give you an example of that limiting mindset in action:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n She had been in business for years.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n She was working full time\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n She had built a moderate following\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026and had paying clients\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n She had huge goals<\/span> to make seven figures in her business\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026but at this point, she wasn\u2019t even making ends meet<\/span>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the first session we had together. she brought up her content <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n strategy, which had been less than successful so far.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m publishing 4 videos per week.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBut I only get 50 views.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I looked closely at her content strategy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Then I gave her this coaching\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou’re putting out good quality content.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou\u2019re making a lot of it, too.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBut the intended audience is not finding it\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026or you\u2019d get tons more views.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSo, why don\u2019t you do some keyword research to figure out what your audience is looking for?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThen you can modify your content a bit, adding in those keyword terms\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c…and then your audience will find your videos when they search for those keywords.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n She bristled, arguing \u201cThere\u2019s no way<\/u> I\u2019m going to do that.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I said, \n
