That\u2019s what a coach said to me the other day, just weeks after they signed up for our advanced program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were inches away from living their dream<\/span>…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…and they bailed out at the last minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever thought that your dream of a coaching business\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026is impossible at this stage of your life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That your life is so busy\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the New York Times Best-Seller, \u201cUntamed\u201d, Glennon Doyle writes about a cheetah at a wildlife park…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…and how it was trained to run after a prop attached to a car<\/span>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…for the enjoyment of the visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"caged<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

That cheetah wasn\u2019t wild and free\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…but merely a tamed version of who she was truly created to be<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glennon uses this analogy to describe how she felt for most of her life\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRAPPED<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TAMED<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAGED<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I totally relate because I felt trapped when I started my coaching business journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life had TAMED me…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

…and I was chasing fake \u2018meat\u2019 to please the people around me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I told my coach I was stuck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I told him I felt helpless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I told him I couldn\u2019t see the way out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I asked \u201cHow do I get out of this trap?\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

He said \u201cFirst you have to recognize the trap.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, I asked \u201cHow do I \u2018see the trap\u2019?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My coach suggested\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGet out of town.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGo away for an overnight trip\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…by yourself.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo family. No friends. No \u2018teachers\u2019 or \u2018gurus\u2019.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust YOU.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I left town…<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

…to discover myself\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…who I wanted to become\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…and what I wanted to accomplish in my coaching business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was such a powerful experience\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

…that I still give myself this gift every year or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I came home with…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
