A few weeks ago we talked about the three impacts of mindset in coaching<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These three \u2018mindset impacts\u2019 MERGE in a coaching business<\/span>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Your Coach’s<\/span> Mindset\u2026<\/li>
  2. Your Client\u2019s<\/span> Mindset…<\/li>
  3. Your Coaching<\/span> Business Mindset.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Your coaching business can fail when just one of these mindsets gets off track<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The IDEAL COMBINATION of ALL THREE MINDSETS becomes MORE than the sum of their parts\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …so your coaching makes a huge impact on the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How can these mindsets make such a difference?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    These mindsets impact each other\u2026    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …and react with each other\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    MERGING…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …kind of like chemicals in a test <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    tube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With the right components\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …something extraordinary<\/span> emerges\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …just like those chemical reactions that made Spider-man or Daredevil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Combine the right \u2018mindset reactions\u2019, and you could emerge as the next \u201csuperhero\u201d on the block!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For now, let\u2019s stick with the chemical reaction metaphor…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This week, while homeschooling my son, I explained to him how molecules merge with each other to create something new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cWhen you combine Sodium and Chloride\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …you create table salt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Something so valuable…<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …that the British withheld it from the Colonists during the Revolutionary War.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    (My son\u2019s yawning at this point\u2026 come to think of it, I should\u2019ve tied in at least one superhero reference.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Admittedly, some chemical combinations are nowhere near as useful\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …and some are explosive or dangerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"Explosion\"<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    But it got me thinking about how you can change ONE chemical, and you get COMPLETELY DIFFERENT results\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …and how I see the same coaching \u201cmindset elements\u201d transform a coach\u2019s business the same way<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What happens when we merge coaching \u201cmindset elements\u201d in different ways?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Change JUST ONE of those mindsets, and you get a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COACHING BUSINESS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"Various<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    For instance, I\u2019ve seen great coaches who have no clients (and no prospects for clients)…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …change their coaching business mindset 10%…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …and their coaching business suddenly explodes to the upside<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I saw the same increase in business for myself when I selected a different coaching client mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Your Coach\u2019s Mindset and your Client\u2019s Mindset Merge to form COACHING VALUE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The reaction between these two mindsets predict the value of your coaching<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Your coaching sessions are valuable\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …if both you and your client are in a powerful state of mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But there\u2019s less coaching value when your Coach\u2019s Mindset is powerful\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …but your Client\u2019s Mindset isn\u2019t<\/span>…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …unless you help elevate your Client\u2019s Mindset during the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I\u2019ll literally STOP in the middle of a coaching session so my client can handle their mindset if it\u2019s lousy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The session is a waste of time if they continue to indulge in anger or wallow in self-pity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Those mindsets make NOTHING available to my client\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    …no matter how great a coach I\u2019m being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the other hand\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What if your own Coach\u2019s Mindset is weak?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A weak Coach\u2019s Mindset inevitably lowers the value of coaching<\/span> for even the most powerful Client Mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
