THREE specific ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FIRST, Mindset is important to your coaching client\u2019s success:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can tell clients what to do as a consultant\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;or help \u2018patients\u2019 uncover their past hurts and gain clarity as a psychologist\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;or you can shift your client\u2019s mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When you change your client\u2019s mindset deeply enough\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8230;you change their life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When you change your client\u2019s mindset deeply enough\u2026<\/strong><meta charset=\"utf-8\"><strong>you change their life.<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I call this <a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/changing-your-clients-reality\/\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Henry Ford said\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>\u201cWhether you think you can\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>\u2026or you think you can\u2019t\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>\u2026you\u2019re right.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your client\u2019s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">thoughts determine their emotions<\/span>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026and your client\u2019s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">emotions determine the quality (and quantity) of their actions<\/span>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026and their <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">actions determine their results<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Remember results?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those things <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">that your clients pay you for<\/span>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The point is\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">mindset is everything for your client<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">source of their life results<\/span>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;and the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">way they experience those results<\/span> as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Want proof?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mindset is rampant in every story where there is a struggling \u2018client\u2019 who becomes a hero\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;and it\u2019s embedded into every fairytale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like Cinderella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026who told her fairy godmother she wanted to go to the ball\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026met the prince\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026got married\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026and lived happily ever after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But, let\u2019s imagine a slight twist to the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this version\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Imagine that Cinderella didn\u2019t believe she was worthy\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026or she <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">didn\u2019t believe<\/span> she was beautiful\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026or she <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">didn\u2019t feel \u2018ready\u2019<\/span> to accept the prince\u2019s invitation to dance\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026or she <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">was so afraid that she hid<\/span> from the prince when he searched for her far and wide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>All that her fairy godmother (coach?) did that evening\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u2026would have been in vain.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mindset is everything for your client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mindset is everything for your client.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SECOND, Mindset is important to your coaching business success:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What if Cinderella\u2019s dream was to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">become a successful coach<\/span>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What if she found a part-time job\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026moved out of her stepmother\u2019s home\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026and started a coaching business?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What mindset would she need to be successful?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What would she have to believe?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What beliefs would she have to give up?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without the belief that she at least had a chance\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026she would never succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve talked about <a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/processing-emotions-in-your-coaching-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>processing emotions in your coaching business<\/strong><\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;some of the worst <a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/5-coaching-business-mindset-mistakes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>coaching business mindset mistakes<\/strong><\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;and <a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/coaching-business-tips-to-strengthen-your-mindset\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>how to strengthen your coaching business mindset muscles<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>But it really all comes down to BELIEF&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you start your coaching business\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026you need belief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You at least need to believe that no matter what happens\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026you will be ok\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026that you will be safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without that basic belief\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026you won\u2019t take the first step\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p it\u2019s important to your own coaching effectiveness:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve written about <a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/my-wife-hired-a-hitman-to-kill-me-crazy-coaching-session\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>the mindset challenges I\u2019ve faced in coaching<\/strong><\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;and how <a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/when-your-coaching-clients-issues-are-your-own\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>mindset limitations can hold back the is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mindset isn\u2019t a destination: it\u2019s a journey.<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That powerful mindset isn\u2019t just important when you deal with a challenging situation or client\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;but any time your coaching must be 100% to offer the full value your client needs and expects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you only tap into 20% of your mindset, then you\u2019ll operate at no better than 20% in your coaching sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Think of your mindset <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">as the \u2018valve\u2019 or the \u2018gateway\u2019<\/span> for all your coaching wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">that conduit is barely open, then you won\u2019t deliver much<\/span> of that wisdom to your client.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If that conduit is wide open\u2026 then your client will get all the vast wisdom available through working with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, how much of your potential wisdom and coaching power do you want to give your client?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bottom line, your mindset will decide that for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The point is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mindset is everything&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>for you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for your coaching business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For your coaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For your client.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mindset isn\u2019t a destination: it\u2019s a journey.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You start that journey with <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/mindset-chemistry-for-your-coaching-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>your own mindset<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll take further steps with <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a mindset<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;and, as a result\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll get to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">help your clients<\/span> take each step forward <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/mindset-chemistry-for-your-coaching-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in their own mindset<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each step evokes more power\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;and makes a greater
