A lot of people change careers more often than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The point?&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Career transitions happen, and they happen a lot\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;multiple times during our lifetime.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A career coach can specialize in facilitating and supporting a career transition that their client might be in the middle of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>A career coach sometimes can specialize in facilitating and supporting a career transition that their client might be in the middle of.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3:13<\/strong> A career coach can be extremely helpful in discovering:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What is your next career?<\/li><li>What is the next best career move?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To determine your next career move, a career coach will consider what you have done in the past, and what strategically makes sense. These graphs will then show me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Emotions<\/li><li>Behavioral styles<\/li><li>Values<\/li><li>Biases<\/li><li>Skill sets<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can look very quickly at these graphs in almost a blink of an eye to immediately get a sense of what makes somebody tick, what they\u2019re going to naturally be comfortable with doing, and what they\u2019re not going to be so comfortable doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5:05<\/strong> I\u2019m going to get a sense of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>what their desires are<\/li><li>what they\u2019re most interested in<\/li><li>what they value<\/li><li>what they\u2019re passionate about<\/li><li>what they\u2019re not passionate about<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can also get a sense of how they think, what their skill sets are, and what their capabilities are.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To some extent, it may be possible to gain an understanding of what parts of their mind they use, and what areas they\u2019re the clearest (in terms of their own thinking).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5:38<\/strong> All of these areas have a gigantic impact on the success or failure of a particular career move, and the client\u2019s potential enjoyment level depending on the activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Psychographic Profiling is a great way to accelerate my understanding of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/mind-blown.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/mind-blown-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"What is a career coach?\n\" class=\"wp-image-26411\" width=\"390\" height=\"219\" title=\"career coach\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/mind-blown-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/mind-blown-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/mind-blown-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/mind-blown-640x360.jpg 640w, https:\/\/coachestrainingblog.com\/becomeacoach\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/mind-blown.jpg 1418w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 390px) 100vw, 390px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Career choices<\/li><li>Transitions<\/li><li>Career outcomes for my client<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coaching Businesses to Direct Their Employees Careers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6:13<\/strong> I work with businesses who use these profiling tools to help a potential new hire choose what type of work they\u2019re going to do within that organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Career coaching typically supports a business through guiding their employees and their potential employees.&nbsp; Furthermore, career coaching can also ensure that the most productive people are working in the right parts of an organization\u2026 so that they have the most powerful team possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s a win for the employee, and a win for the business as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Career Coaches Can Work as Life Purpose Coaches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oPKUBxYJxh8&amp;t=414s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">6:54<\/a><\/strong> Even though career coaching is really about working with the client exclusively on their career\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;we spend most of our lives in our career\u2026 working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The kind of choices that I can support a client in making around their career doesn\u2019t just impact their career, or their income, or their career satisfaction.&nbsp; It ultimately impacts their entire life, and moreover, the purpose of their life as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>If you\u2019re a great career coach already, consider getting into life purpose coaching.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>7:27<\/strong> If you\u2019re a career coach, consider making your own career transition by becoming more of a life purpose coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re really great at helping somebody select a career that they\u2019ll be passionate about (and a career in which they will excel)&#8230;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;those breakthroughs can make a big impact on their life purpose as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A life purpose coach works with a client, not just on their career selection and their career choices, but really their life choices.
