Your skills, previous work, or life experience that you can utilize to help your client effectively.  Find out and bring it to the table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step #2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Know Your Client Base <\/em>–  After you have identified your coaching niche, it is time to find your target audience.  Decide how you want to help your target clients achieve desired goals.  What can you offer them? Your message has to be precise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where to Find Your Target Clients <\/em>– It’s time to go in search of your ideal clients.  Where do they meet up? You must know their hangout and go where they go.  In my experience, most of your coaching clients will be found on social media, specifically Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin. These platforms are where they spend most of their time.  Engage them by joining communities they are a part of, put out ads ( they are quite affordable), especially on Facebook.  Create a business page on your social media sites where prospective clients can learn more about you and your services. Ensure that you are continually posting relevant and engaging content to build your online presence. Offer free one on one or group coaching sessions and have different coaching packages ready for when they decide to sign up with you after the free session. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step #4<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Inner circle<\/em> – Share your ideas and business with friends and loved ones. They are usually your best advocates, the ones you trust the most. They are the people who want to see you succeed in your new career. Your inner circle of family and friends are typically the best promoters of your coaching business when they believe in your passion. They will go seeking clients for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Classified Sites<\/em> –  Take advantage of free sites such as Craigslist, Oodle, Adpost.  You are most likely to land at least one or two coaching clients from there.   I was excited when I landed my first coaching client through ads posted on Craigslist.  Be warned you may get a lot of spam messages before you eventually land a prospective client.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Email Lis<\/em>t \u2013 Sending out emails to people in your networks, i.e., personal and professional, proves useful in getting your first coaching client. If you send out a certain amount of emails a week, there is an excellent chance you will get a few positive feedbacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Networking Events<\/em> – Locate group events in your area; programs your ideal clients are likely to attend.
