There are typically two credentials most often pursued from the ICF \u2013 the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and the Professional Certified Coach (PCC). It is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of trained coaching professionals. The ICF is considered the gold standard in coaching.<\/p>\n<h3>The Professional Certified Coach \u2013 PCC ICF Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>There are three application paths to choose from for the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. There is the ACTP path, the ACSTH Path; the Portfolio Path and the requirements and costs for each track does vary. It is important for any individual who is looking to become an ICF credentialed coach to be aware of the requirements for these three <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">PCC ICF<\/span> paths.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ACTP Path<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Completion of an entire ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP). Check for your program\u2019s approval below.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 500 hours (450 paid.) of coaching experience with at least 25 clients following the start of your coach-specific training. At the minimum 50 of these hours must occur within the 18 months before submitting the application for the credential.<\/li>\n<li>Completion of the Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA).<\/li>\n<li>Fees: $300 for ICF Members, $500 for non-members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that the Coach Knowledge Assessment is a multiple-choice web-based exam on the ICF Core Competencies and Ethics.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ACSTH Path<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>At least 125 hours of coach-specific training through an ACTP or ACSTH program. Check for your program\u2019s approval below.<\/li>\n<li>Ten hours of Mentor Coaching over a minimum of three months to be documented on your online application. Your Mentor Coach must be a PCC or MCC in good standing.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 500 hours (450 paid.) of coaching experience with at least 25 clients following the start of your coach-specific training.
