The biggest trouble with coaching mastermind<\/a><\/strong> groups is that they don\u2019t last very long.\u00a0 Every coach is excited after they go through coach training<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Almost every life coach is raring to go when they first start a coaching mastermind<\/strong> group.\u00a0 But very few coaches keep the dream of becoming a life coach alive after their first year of coach training<\/strong> or instruction.<\/p>\n

Coach Training For Sustainability: The Ongoing Syntax for Coaching Mastermind Calls<\/h3>\n

Once you are out of coach training<\/strong>, and you are off and running with your coaching mastermind<\/strong>, you\u2019ll need to keep it going, so first you\u2019ll need to know how to run your mastermind calls ongoingly.<\/p>\n

Here is a simple, ongoing syntax for coaching mastermind<\/span> calls:<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0The leader or mastermind organizer should take role and CALL any coach who is not there within first five minutes (no mastermind member left behind!).<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0The mastermind group organizer will start recording the call.<\/p>\n

HERE THE LEADER OF THE COACHING MASTERMIND WILL TAKE OVER:<\/em><\/p>\n

3. \u00a0Give the coaches 2-5 minutes of small talk \/ updates, giving them a chance to connect (I heard coaches like to connect with one another).<\/p>\n

4. \u00a0For 30-45 minutes, guide hotseat discussion(s) (The coaches(s) on the hotseat would be decided upon beforehand).\u00a0 Content of the hotseat discussions can include:<\/p>\n

a. \u00a0coaching goals they need help with
\nb. \u00a0an update with open feedback
\nc. \u00a0a problem they need solved
\nd. \u00a0questions they have -request for resources or connections with network(s)<\/p>\n

5. \u00a0**ALTERNATE STEP 4:\u00a0 An alternative or addition to a hotseat format could be to create a pseudo-coach training environment by discussing a particular book that the coaches read that week and how it applies to their ongoing coach training or how you can implement the teachings of training that they\u2019ve received in the past.\u00a0 Possible group assignment or accountability set up for each coach.<\/em><\/p>\n

6. \u00a0The coaching mastermind<\/span> group organizer should take 5 Minutes for double checking schedule of next mastermind call and which coach(es) will be next on the hotseat(s)<\/p>\n

7. \u00a0After you get off the phone, take 5 Minutes to read coaching mastermind coach\u2019s written goals or visions for the year.<\/p>\n

Coach Training on What to do After \/ Between Coaching Mastermind Calls<\/h3>\n

The key to keeping the faith in your coaching mastermind group is to have powerful activity and results between<\/em> mastermind calls that contribute to your ongoing coach training<\/span>.\u00a0 Make sure that all the coaches are making progress in their lives and businesses.<\/p>\n

Coaching Mastermind Organizer Tasks: Coach Training on What You Need to do Between Calls<\/h3>\n

The coaching mastermind organizer will need to handle a few things between each call.\u00a0 These simple actions will really contribute to the coach training<\/span> and development that comes from your participation in the coach mastermind.<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0Forward the call replay email link to the coaching mastermind coaches.<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0Send a confirmation email of the next call time and WHO is on the hot seat.<\/p>\n

3. \u00a0Send a reminder the day before the coaching mastermind meets\u2026 any coach who has an emergency and cannot make the call MUST email the organizer 24 hours ahead of time to notify the group (this should happen seldom, but sometimes is unavoidable).<\/p>\n

4. \u00a0Send another email reminder the day OF the mastermind.<\/p>\n

Coach Training on The Bonus Key to Magical Coaching Mastermind Results<\/h3>\n

Here is a little secret that my mastermind group does that has rendered HUGE results for us.\u00a0 We all write out our visions for the year, then, after each mastermind call, we each individually read ALL the visions (including our own).\u00a0 There\u2019s something about the focus and intention that this process creates that is powerful and seems to create an almost magic synchronicity within the group and in our own lives and businesses.\u00a0 Try it for yourself and see the results flow through your group!<\/p>\n

Expect problems and challenges to show up.\u00a0 If they do, you\u2019ll be prepared and not surprised.\u00a0 Remember that any problems in your mastermind group are simply additional coach training<\/a> that you didn\u2019t ask for, but you can still take advantage of.\u00a0 If problems don\u2019t show up, you\u2019ll be pleasantly surprised!<\/p>\n
