From a glance, this plan helps their team answer these questions about the\u00a0 enterprise:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What are our most important goals (and the deadlines)?<\/li>\n<li>What do we need to focus on?<\/li>\n<li>What actions do we need to constantly take (and when)?<\/li>\n<li>Who is responsible for each goal, focus, and action?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This will help get the team on the same page, organize their mindset, and help them understand how each item fits together to achieve the big picture accomplishments.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/352287881&amp;color=%23ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>How to Organize<\/h3>\n<p>Tell your business coaching client the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>List the organization\u2019s top GOALS (usually 2-5 &#8211; likely the items you circled in the Prioritize step).<\/li>\n<li>Determine the organization\u2019s Areas of Focus:\n<ul>\n<li>What are the areas that require improvement and focus? Where does the team ALREADY spend important time\/money\/resources?<\/li>\n<li>ELIMINATE any areas of focus that are no longer important.<\/li>\n<li>COMBINE any areas of focus that should be assimilated.<\/li>\n<li>ADD \/ SEPARATE areas of focus that deserve their own area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Organize all the remaining goals underneath an Area of Focus (likely the items you highlighted in the Prioritize step).<\/li>\n<li>List any Consistent Actions (ongoing activity regardless of any goal achievement) beneath an Area of Focus.<\/li>\n<li>Assign each Goal, Action, and Area of Focus to ONE OWNER.<\/li>\n<li>Generate any horizontal plans (timelines) based upon the content of the \u201cvertical plan\u201d you created.
