He probably didn\u2019t write it as a career coach book, but it can serve a strategic place on any coach\u2019s bookshelf. This book details dozens of examples how small triumphed over big \u2013 examples that can be used within the context of a coaching session.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Refuse to Choose!: Use All of Your Interests, Passions, and Hobbies to Create the Life and Career of Your Dreams<\/i><\/b><b> \u2013 Barbara Sher<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Long title, and perhaps a big contrived, but it helps you realize that having myriad passions and interests is not that bad and can be surprisingly beneficial. It also helps people learn how to apply their passions and interests to the career of their choice. This isn\u2019t truly classified under <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>career coach books<\/strong><\/span>, but it contains so much valuable information for the career coach that it is worth putting on your list to Santa.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Antifragile: Things That Gain From Disorder<\/i><\/b><b> \u2013 Nassim Nicholas Taleb<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Most people would find this an odd choice to be included on a list of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>career coach books<\/strong><\/span>, but its inclusion is important in these times of volatility and disorder. Its premise is that you can benefit from shock and volatility.
