It’s a way of becoming more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Mindfulness can be an antidote to television, social media, and the stream of constant information prevalent in our modern world. Our minds are easily distracted, constantly examining the past and anticipating the future – mindfulness helps us live in the present.

Why Mindfulness Meditation Coaching?

Meditation is a large umbrella terms that covers many ways of reaching a higher level of concentration and consciousness. Mindfulness is the art of focusing on being in the present, and is a form of meditation. Mindfulness meditation coaching is the art of teaching meditation to achieve mindfulness.

Teaching clients to meditate has many benefits for them:

They will think more clearly

They won’t react to troublesome situations or problems with chaotic thinking

They will have more confidence in their decision-making abilities

They will reduce stress levels

They’ll learn how to solve previously incurable problems in their lives and businesses

They’ll learn how to keep a cool head in difficult and stressful times

How to Meditate in 3 Easy Steps

Coaching usually requires you to listen, guide, support, encourage, and assess. You don’t usually tell clients what to do. However, mindfulness meditation coaching does require you to tell the client what to do, at least at first. You’ll have to instruct the client about how to meditate, though the instruction comes with three easy steps. Mastering mindfulness will take time, and this is where listening, support, encouragement, and assessment will help your client become better at achieving mindfulness.

Here are the 3 basic steps for learning how to meditate:

Relax.

Sit or lie down, breathe at a relaxed pace, and close your eyes. These are the simple ways you should begin a meditation session. Though it sounds simple, it takes discipline to find a few moments, put down the iPhone, and distance yourself from the modern world.

Be aware.

Help your clients become aware by noticing their body’s sensations and what’s around them. Also let them know to notice their breathing. Your clients can also notice any thoughts they are having. Though this counters some things most people have heard about meditation, it’s perfectly fine to notice your thoughts. To help achieve mindfulness, just notice thoughts, and then let them go.

Achieve a free mind.

In many ways, this is the simplest step – if clients have put in the work on the first two steps, this one will be easy. The key to achieving a free mind is to think about whatever you like. Tell your clients it is fine to let their minds wonder and to think about whatever they want.
Mindfulness meditation coaching can work wonders with your clients. It can help them achieve more goals and find more outcomes. Anything that helps you find more outcomes for your clients will help your reputation grow – and when your reputation grows, your business and income grow right along with it!

Special Bonus – Learn 3 simple ways to become a life coach with the “30-Days to Become a Coach” video toolkit when you fill in the form at the top right and click the “Watch The Videos Now” button.
