You can also offer them the potential for financial freedom!

What is Financial Freedom?

Financial freedom means many different things to different people. For some people, it means never having to worry about putting food on the table or having over a roof over their heads. For others, it means being able to purchase a fancy car, a big house, and all the luxury items they dream about. To a teenager, it might mean having some spending money, and to a retiree it might mean never having to work again.

For others, it might mean having the opportunity to make money on their own, in the own businesses, without being chained to a desk or working the 9-to-5 routine. Financial freedom often means financial independence.

As a financial freedom coach, your first goal is to help each client identify and clarify their goals. You have to know what they want to help them get it!

How do you do that? How do you help them define their goals? The same way any coach helps identify goals – through inquiry, active listening, and feedback.

What Does a Financial Freedom Coach Do?

Financial freedom coaching is basically synonymous with money coaching. However, your focus should be on making money work for your clients, instead of letting your clients work for money. The difference may be subtle, but it can make a big difference financially and psychologically. It can mean the difference between reaching goals or falling short of a desired destination.

Being a financial freedom coach means you also specialize in career coaching and business coaching. You will be helping your clients find the career that best suits their definitions of financial freedom. Do they want to be an entrepreneur? Do they want to work from home. Do they want to retire early? Do they want to pursue creative endeavors? You will also help them identify goals for their businesses and help them create the business they truly want.

You will also be working with people as a more traditional money coach. You help each client learn about and create budgets, you help them understand investments and investment objectives and strategies, you teach them about debt (how to use it and how not to use it), and you work with them on behavioral control and how to avoid spending on impulse.

As a financial freedom coach, you can help find outcomes for your clients for any aspect of their lives that involves money – career, household finances, saving for college, retirement, and a rainy day, and more.

Give Your Clients the Tools to Reach Financial Freedom

Your main goal as a financial freedom coach is to empower your clients to achieve their own financial freedom according to their definition of that term. You can empower them to make life choices that fit into their definition of financial independence. You give them the tools, the knowledge, and the strategies to carve out a financial life that fits who they are and who they want to become. It’s a little different than a money coach – you also work with the details, but you also focus on the big picture of who you clients what to be, and how they want to achieve their financial dreams.

Special Bonus – Learn 32 ‘Guru’ Transformation Techniques when you fill in the form at the top right and click the “Watch The Videos Now” button.
