Why a Success Coaching Program For College Students?<\/h3>\n

Each student that enters the University of Dayton has different needs and goals \u2013 they come from different backgrounds, new schools, new educational histories, and they are considering different majors. Kumarasamy also said, \u201cWe wanted to give them guidance that might vary from situation to situation.<\/p>\n

The coaches not only help students with adjusting to a new environment and assisting them with living skills, they also provide guidance on how to navigate all aspects of living and studying away from the familiar environs of their family home.<\/p>\n

What is the University of Dayton Success Coaching?<\/h3>\n

The success coaching program was developed by Kumarasamy and Inside Track, a Seattle-based student coaching company. It is offered for six months prior to the start of classes and during the first semester. Students can select from two different methods. They can elect to use a regular coaching model with structured coaching sessions, or they can choose a lighter model where they can call and speak with a coach whenever they need.<\/p>\n

The University of Dayton success<\/span> coaching program will connect students to the right people abd departments and will help them locate the appropriate student service provider to address their needs and issues. They have designed it to not be a one size fits all model. Instead, it has been developed to fit different students with a wide variety of needs.<\/p>\n

Students can continue The University of Dayton success<\/strong> coaching program after their first semester concludes at a cost of $500 per semester. The University of Dayton success<\/span>fully implemented this coaching model a few years ago and it seems to be a big hit with the students. Not only do the students benefit from the coaching, the college also learns about the changing needs of its students.<\/p>\n

Who is Inside Track?<\/h3>\n

Inside Track is a Seattle-based company whose core program is success coaching. They have coached over 250,000 students nationwide and have partnered with a few universities around the country. The University of Dayton is one of the first colleges to offer this success coaching to all incoming freshman.<\/p>\n
