So it stands to reason that if you are looking to have a major impact as a coach, helping someone establish those relationships gives you the opportunity to have the maximum impact. What Will Make Your Client Truly Happy?<\/h3>\n

Your first step as a personal dating coach<\/span> is to understand your client\u2019s personality style and values based on assessments. With this knowledge and other inputs, you are in a position to guide your client as to just the sort of person they can be truly happy and fulfilled with. You can also coach them on what to look for in a date to identify them as a potential match.<\/p>\n

A Personal Dating Coach Helps Overcome Fear<\/h3>\n

The saying goes that people are more afraid of public speaking than of dying. Well, I would say that asking someone out on a date is much more frightening than getting up and speaking to an anonymous crowd. A major part of coaching a client on dating is helping to increase the client\u2019s self esteem, and holding them accountable to actually follow through on their initial impulses. On the other hand, there is an entire science around being attractive and available, but not too much so.<\/p>\n

Understanding Attraction, Infatuation, Love and Reasonable Expectations<\/h3>\n

If you are to be a successful personal dating coach<\/strong>, you need to be able to get at least some of your clients past dating to the courting phase, and beyond. A key to success here is to understand the mechanisms of attraction, the feelings of infatuation, the transition to love, and to do all of that with reasonable expectations at each step. It is ironic, that the differences that might attract us to someone initially can end up being what drive us nearly crazy in the long term. Clearly, covering these points may be the most important parts of successful dating and successful coaching.<\/p>\n
