Life coaching marketing has not always been easy for me, and at one point in my career life I almost gave up all together as I hated marketing so badly, until I had a shift in my perspective and thinking. I did a little coaching on myself and used a coaching technique you probably already know called “reframing”. Instead of looking at sales and marketing the way you always have, you can start to look at it as a part of the coaching process.

- Coaching is about getting people to take action. Marketing is about getting people to take action.
- Coaching is about getting your client to the point where they know what they want, what their challenges are, and what to do. Marketing is about the challenges they are facing and how to solve their problems and getting them to buy.
- Coaching is about helping people see new possibilities and so is marketing.
Four Changes to Make in Your Marketing to Make it More Like Coaching
- Make your life coaching marketing materials to serve people instead of selling people. The more you focus on creating your life coaching marketing in a way that creates value and sounds like coaching, the more you’ll feel good about marketing.
- As a coach, part of your job is to inspire your clients, the same is true with marketing. Broadcasting your extreme results, as long as they’re true, can be inspiring and so can testimonials of your client’s results.
- As a coach, you must have rapport with your clients and you must have rapport when marketing. The best way to gain rapport is to understand your clients in a deep way.
- As a coach you want people to take action and you certainly want action taken in your marketing. Focus on creating marketing materials that move people to take action.
When you start to look at your life coach market the same way you do your existing clients then your marketing efforts will motivate people to buy your products or services.
