Personal Coaching, Training for Success – Five Steps to Motivate

  1. Develop trust with your client. Trust takes some time so it is important not to rush. The inquiry should begin in more general terms and gradually become more intimate and probing.
  2. Actively listen to your client. Clients know when you are not listening. Yes – they know! An active listener is engaged and enthusiastic. By listening with your eyes and your ears, you will move that level of trust to an even higher level.
  3. Personal coaching, trained for success! You have been trained and educated – use your training, use the techniques and skills you have been taught. These techniques have become a part of a good coaching education because they work. Continuing your education will allow you to keep up with new theories, skills, and techniques that are designed to help you motivate and inspire your clients.
  4. Be prepared. Even if you want to look casual and spontaneous when you are working with a client, it is important to come prepared to every session. An unprepared coach is a coach without clients.
  5. Love your work! Your passion and presence will be blatantly evident to your clients. Your inspiration will inspire others. Your motivation will motivate others. Your passion will instill passion in others. Your love for your passion will help bring out your clients love for their own passions. They reap what you sow – the power of coaching!

Working one-on-one with clients to help them find their own definition of success and chart their personal pathways to that success is invigorating and enlightening. Personal coaching, training for success involves a coach who truly cares (you) and a client passionate for personal success. In a competitive world, every advantage counts, and a personal coach provides individuals hungry for success with a trained, dedicated, highly proficient advantage. Be that advantage!
