Beyond Coach Training, How do You Become a Life Coach Who Can Find Clients?
If you are like many life coaches, one of your greatest fears is wasting time and money on a marketing strategy, and falling short of your coaching client goal. There is so much information; you might often not know where to start. This is coach training you can start using today to improve your results.
Coach Training on How do You Become a Life Coach Who Really Understands
The first part of this coach training is to find out what people want. How do you become a life coach who knows what people want? How do you become a life coach who really understands their clients’ desires, aspirations, hopes and fears? Ask your coaching clients and potential coaching clients. We do this naturally in one-on-one coaching sessions. But if you can find what your target market wants, you can market to that group in such a way that you can get lots of new life coaching clients. Find the most intense frustration your target market has. Find the intersection between the most common frustrations and the most intense frustrations. Remember you are marketing to the group. Don’t go too wide or too vague.
The next step in this coach training is to figure out how to become a life coach who gives your clients what they want. You’ve probably heard this before, but the missing key is that your clients “know the best solution”. Start where your customer is, not where you want them to be. There are many things you can offer your clients. You may have the “golden egg” or a great idea from your latest coach training seminar, but your client might not see that “golden egg” as valuable. Meet them where they are, and offer them solutions. Come down to the “bottom of the mountain” where they are, to lead them to the “top”. Give them what they want, and show them some success. Then gradually take them up to the “top of the mountain” (where you really want them to be).
How do You Become a Life Coach Who Makes This Coach Training Strategy Successful?
If your marketing doesn’t give your client a gut reaction, it’s worthless. If you can explain your client’s problem, frustration, or desire better than they can, you have instant credibility. You provide compassion for your prospect in that moment. When you have a great coaching session, there will be a big “ah ha!” moment. “Finally someone understands me!” Empathy is understanding the thoughts and feelings of another person. Compassion is proactively sharing that empathy with someone in a way that shows a desire to help them. If you create that compassion with one person you get a new client. If you can create that compassion with multiple people, you know how to become a life coach who has a true coach business empire.
