Help Your Health Coaching Clients Take Charge of What They Eat

Let your health coaching clients see that there is much more certainty in preparing their own foods rather than eating out.  They control the ingredients.  They choose whether they put MSG, sugar, or GMO’s into the food they eat.  They can choose to eat organic or not.  Who knows what is in that Taco Bell meat anyway?  And chicken nuggets?  We laugh at the commercial that poses the question, “Which part of the chicken is the nugget?”  But there is little certainty in eating processed foods.  What is safe one year may not be safe five years from now.  Encouraging your clients to take control of their diet by making their own meals is one way how to become a health coach who helps their clients gain certainty.

Encourage your health coaching clients to plan what they eat and when.  Have them take this job seriously.  Now you know more than how to become a health coach who allows their clients to just eat haphazardly anywhere just to fill the void in their stomach.  Provide accountability to encourage your clients to plan what they will eat, when they will shop, how they will gather their family and friends around a table that is about the connection instead of filling another unmet need.
