It's hard to give advice to people who aren't willing to listen, and this is where a life coach must dig through - tap the potential and bring out and try to put people in their right mindset to do what they need to do. Nice post by the way. Keep it up.

The thing about Executive Coaching is that you would need to have experience and know your stuff. Executives have achieved highly visible positions and are usually quite knowledgeable about their area of expertise. They will not easily follow someone else's suggestions and advice unless they trust that ths person is well qualified to help them get where they want to be. So attending a colleage training makes sense to me.

Warmly,

Dr. Erica

This article caught my attention because I am a lover of quotes and use them quite often. One that stood out to me was: “But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads.” I think it's important to love your work and you will enjoy each day better. A quote that means a lot to me, fits into your theme here. A coach can help you figure this out, if you haven't already: "If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not Much." ~Jim Rohn
Have an excellent week!

Hi,

Great poem. Great concept - to work with a certified coach.
However, you need to find a coach who can coach you at the level where you are at.
At this point, I have learned and studied so much about life, about relationships, about healing, about building an online business, about marketing and about spirituality. For me, I need to work with a master, not just a certified coach. And sometimes, a master is not even certified by any organization because he or she created success and abundance before the coaching programs were even established.

But for someone who is starting out or floundering or someone who has not done the work and study on his or her own, a certified coach can be a blessing and a life saver.

Warmly,

Dr. Erica

Hello Fred, love the poem, a coach is like a fairy godmother, not really but it sounds like they are! Of course, a coach is only good if you are coachable and willing to co-operate with them.

Hey Fred,

Excellent article ... I love quotes and I continuously make reference to them on a day to day basis.

Here is one from myself as it relates to your topic.

"A great coach will be measured not only in the value given towards his students success but in a single moment where lives are changed forever." - Kevin DeRoo

Thanks for sharing Fred,
