Keys to Getting Your Business Coaching Salary up By Tapping into the Dark Mind of The Business Owner: Secrets to Become a Business Coach Today

In an earlier article, I wrote about how to become a business coach and increase your business coaching salary by being aware of the limitations of your own thinking.  But to become a business coach you’ve got to do more than just see the inside of the box that you’ve built.  To become a business coach you’ve got to get outside that box and really think like a business owner.  Your business coaching salary and your ability to become a business coach with results is dependent upon what you’re about to read.

To Increase Your Business Coaching Salary and to Become a Business Coach Who Understands How Business Owners Think: Read This

People who are already making a great business coaching salary know this:

Business owners are above the fray.  They work ON problems and goals not IN them.  Their EMPLOYEES work INSIDE their ‘sandbox’ that they built.  Building that sandbox (otherwise known as a business) that others can play in (otherwise known as WORK AND MAKE MONEY FOR THEMSELVES AND THE BUSINESS OWNER IN), a business owner can’t just DO ACTIONS and they can’t just bliss out and BE BE BE.  They’ve got to SET CONDITIONS AND BUILD A CONTEXT.

Examples of How a Business Owner Sets Conditions and Builds Contexts: Keys to Become a Business Coach and Your Business Coaching Salary

When you build a brick and mortar store that is in a great location for foot traffic, you are a business owner setting conditions and building a context.

When you set up a nice landing page that will attract and sell lots of people your product (after doing extensive market research), you are setting conditions and building a context.

When you create a way for a team of coaches to have a business coaching salary that comes from new business leads every day, along with training and support systems to become a business coach, you are setting conditions and building a context.

How You’ll Need to Help Business Owners to Become a Business Coach with Results and That Juicy Business Coaching Salary

In order to get these things to work, a great business owner has to do two things:

Step One: Think at a level of CONTEXT AND CONDITIONS (be able to masterfully plan out their next level of conditions and contexts)

Step Two: Execute their plans even while other things are going wrong (or right!) at the level of DOING and BEING.  And they need to maintain good DOING AND BEING practices during those times!

If you can think at that level, and help your business coaching clients to do those two things, then you can become a business coach that coaches with greatness.  That will result in a huge business coaching salary.  If you can do those two things yourself, then you’ll be an amazing business owner that will be walking the talk!

What’s The Secret to Become a Business Coach? How to Think Like a Business Owner to Explode Your Business Coaching Salary

Are you thinking about how to become a business coach or just increasing your business coaching salary?  In order to become a business coach you need to think like a business owner (or at least know how to think like a business owner at times).  Your business coaching salary is going to increase only if you know how to talk to business owners, and if your talking follows your thinking.

To Become a Business Coach and Pull in a Nice Business Coaching Salary, First Get Real About How Most People (Non-Business Owners) Think

Most people think that results in business or in life comes from DOING things (and it’s understandable why they would think that way).  Isn’t it obvious that doing something will produce a result? Isn’t it obvious that in life all results come from DOING things?  Action… isn’t that what life (and for that matter, coaching) is all about?

The fact is that actions are the way most people think, and they are so busy doing things that they never stop to design their business (or their life for that matter).  To become a business coach you need to operate on a level above DOING.  You have to DO more than just DOING ACTIONS.  In fact, if that’s the way you think, the business owners you attract will be unsuccessful and you won’t be able to help then much.  The more successful business owners will not allow you to coach them (rather they will feel that they should probably be coaching YOU on how to increase your business coaching salary).

What Most Life Coaches Think They Need to do to Become a Business Coach (The Most Esoteric Way to Create a Business Coaching Salary)

Most coaches take more of an esoteric approach to become a business coach.  There’s nothing wrong with thinking in esoteric ways at times, in fact it may help, but business owners will expect more from you as their coach, especially if you are to have a consistent business coaching salary.

Coaches understand the concept that DOING just leads to more DOING and that there’s much more power in BEING.  BEING creates enlightened power, rather than bulldozing force.  Force works only once, while POWER works over and over again with no additional effort.  Being is a bit esoteric (see “The Secret” or “What the BLEEP to we Know?” movies).  It’s very interesting and tends to produce results, but it’s hard to pin down exactly what it is.  Is BEING all about State of Mind?  Is being about Magic?

Thinking about BEING and operating under BEING rather than DOING is a step in the right direction, but (as most people that want to become a business coach do) if this is as far as you go with your business coaching clients, you’ll leave them without an ounce of REAL value and they’ll wonder if you are worth your business coaching salary.

Remember that the first step out of this ‘box’ that people and coaches create for themselves, is to know it’s there and then at least to connect being and doing together.  That will give you a fighting chance and it will bring new connections to light for your business coaching clients so you can enjoy a higher business coaching salary and become a business coach that you admire.

Coaching Certification…Do I need it to become a coach?

Do you need coaching certification to become a coach?  Fortunately, the answer is no.  I say that because the ICF (International Coaching Federation), which is the primary certifying body for coaches worldwide, will not even look at your application until you have at least 250 hours of PAID coaching under your belt, and that’s for the first level.  Think about it.  If you are just starting out and coaching 10 hours/week… you are very fortunate.  But even at this rate, it will take at least 6 months.  And for the most prestigious level you will need at least 1000 hours, which would take you a year if you are coaching 20 hours a week… allowing a generous 2 weeks for vacation.

So it looks like if you are relying on getting your coaching certification from the ICF so you can have the confidence to become a coach and fill your coaching practice, you need another plan.  The most practical method would be to find a coaching training program, that includes sales and marketing so when you complete your training you will have the tools to find clients you can coach.  The confidence part?  A good part of that will come with a training program that includes coaching others and getting specific feedback, and the rest is a matter of getting out there and coaching a lot of people.  And if your clients are getting results from your coaching, they won’t worry about whether you are certified or not.

Get a coaching certification in RESULTS.

Since having a coaching certification is not really connected to getting clients, you can choose whether to get certified or not based on your philosophy, instead of perceived need.  Coaching certification is a step toward creating a standard within the industry, which could potentially benefit us all.  Some believe that certification may become more important in a few years from now, so keeping track of your paid coaching time is a good idea… and until then focus on the training you need to become a coach.
