Make a Difference – Be a Personal Business Coach!

Every great movement begins as a stirring in the heart of an individual. Whether an entrepreneur, a sales professional or a teacher, each will crystallize a vision, share it and move many to action. Or they will not. The difference depends on their access to a master personal coach. A master personal coach who may be YOU.

What makes a Master Personal Business Coach?

Well, a personal coach is one who focuses their skills on the betterment of an individual. They may be paid by “the company”. The individual may be investing in their own future and in their dream. Or they may be the beneficiary of the kindness of someone who has enlists to become a part of the vision.

What Is Your Business?

Your business is what it is that you are all about. The work of Mother Teresa and the work of Jack Welch are both businesses. They are organized efforts with goals and people working to reach those goals, and they both are governed by the economics of the real world. What really matters is that one has a vision which is so compelling that it can unite disparate individuals around that common goal and calling. And so it is obvious why a Personal Business Coach is required? Personal because this speaks to the focus on a leader. Business because, as we have said, every dream is bound to earth by the realities of business and economics. And Coach because no one else is as well equipped to assist a dreamer in transforming their vision into reality through others.

Changing the World through an Entrepreneur, a Sales Professional or a Teacher

It is the Personal Business Coach who is best equipped to make the difference and who can help turn the dreams of the leader into reality. This works only if the Personal Business Coach can see the advantage of investing in clients who might not have the cash, but who might have the possibility for great results. Then the coach can make the business decision to offer their services either for a percentage of the increased business results, or for the achievement of grander goals measured in the currency of the soul.

Give this strategy a try and see for yourself that it works. If you liked this coaching tip, leave a comment or use the handy bookmark buttons below to share it with others on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, etc. Thanks!

Business Coaching to Help Your Personal Business Coach Clients Stay Flexible When Dealing With Tough Problems

In business coaching, your personal business coach clients will have many challenges.  Problems are normal, natural parts of business.  As a personal business coach, help your clients separate fact from fiction.  A fact is something that is fixed and not changeable.  A problem or challenge is something that can be solved.  You can do something about it.  In order to make a change your business coaching client needs to stay flexible.  Here are some ways to help them do so.

Business Coaching:  Teach Your Personal Business Coach Client to Say “I Was Wrong”

.

When your personal business coach client makes a decision, and over time, it proves to be a wrong decision, help them to not be afraid of saying, “I was wrong.”  As soon as your business coaching client admits they were wrong, the situation is over.  They don’t have to waste any more time defending, justifying, or explaining themselves.  Now you have empowered them to make a decision to get results.

Your personal business coach client should also be willing to say, “I made a mistake.” Many of our decisions in life will be incorrect because we don’t know what the future holds.  When your business coaching client can admit to being wrong and to making  mistakes without judging themselves a failure, they can get back on course.

Business Coaching:  Your Personal Business Coach Client Has the Right to Change Their Mind

.

Throughout your personal business coach client’s career, they are going to make decisions based on how they think and feel at the moment.  But over time, they may think differently about the same matter.  They may realize that, based on new information, a previous decision was not the best one.  When that happens to your client, allow them the opportunity to change their mind.  It’s okay for your client to change their mind and turn in a better direction when they realize they made a mistake.  When you can help your business coaching client to admit mistakes, be flexible and change their mind to be more effective, you will have set them up for long-term business success.

Business Coaching: Help Your Personal Business Coach Clients Become Wealthy Through Contribution

When your business coaching or personal business coach client contributes value to others, they deserve to keep some of that value for themselves. Many of your personal business coach clients don’t really understand how money and wealth works. That is why they need your business coaching to create wealth and financial freedom for their families. We will consider how all money comes from wealth of some kind. We will also consider how to create wealth, not through tricks or dishonesty, but through contribution to others.

Business Coaching: Teach Your Personal Business Coach Client How Wealth Comes From Wealth

.

Your personal business coach client must understand that all money comes from creating wealth of some kind. Most of the money that people have comes as a result of that person exchanging their time and effort, in the production of a product or service, for a fee. Every dollar that your business coaching client will receive on the road to creating wealth will come from someone who has worked to create the money in some way.

Every dollar you get, as a personal business coach or otherwise, must be given to you or paid voluntarily by someone else who has worked hard to earn that amount of money themselves. People will only pay you for things like your business coaching services if they see the efforts as being worth the efforts they’ve already invested.

Business Coaching: Have Your Personal Business Coach Client Ask Themselves, “What Can I Do To Deserve This Money From Someone Else?”

.

Your personal business coach client may have heard that most business breakdowns in communication could be avoided if we replaced the word “success” with “contribution.” The wealthiest people are the people making the most contribution to the largest group of people. They are making a product or service that large numbers of people are happy to purchase to improve the quality of their lives.

As a personal business coach, you can help instill this philosophy in your clients. Have your business coaching client ask themselves “What contribution am I making to other people to cause them to want to give me the wealth I want?” When your business coaching client stops thinking about themselves and begins focusing on giving to others, they will truly be on the path to creating lasting wealth.

Help Your Business Coaching or Personal Business Coach Clients Learn How To Leverage Their Time

All of your business coaching or personal business coach clients need to learn how to leverage their time. One of the most effective ways for your business coaching clients to leverage their time is to hire assistants or consultants on an as-needed basis. You, as a personal business coach, are a consultant. Typically, consultants charge between $25 and $300 an hour to provide is highly specialized help. Many of your business coaching clients will hire a consultant, rather than an employee, to do their website work and accounting because it is usually not cost effective to hire a web person or an accountant full time. So to help your personal business coach client save money and resources, have them hire a consultant instead.

Business Coaching: How Does Your Personal Business Coach Client Know When They Are Ready To Hire An Assistant?

.

This is a very common question that your personal business coach clients will ask you. It has a very simple answer. Hiring an assistant is purely a financial decision. Have your business coaching client determine how many hours they will have their assistant work. Then, have them decide how much they are going to pay their assistant. Let’s say they are going to hire an assistant to work 10 hours per week at $10 per hour. That’s $100 per week. Tell your business coaching clients to ask themselves this question: “If I had an assistant right now working 10 hours per week, could I increase my income more than $100 per week?” If the answer is yes, they should strongly consider hiring an assistant.

Business Coaching: Have Your Personal Business Coaching Client Do What They Do Best, And Hire Others To Do The Rest

.

A great way for your personal business coach client to increase their profits is to hire other people to bring in sales. Ask your business coaching client some key questions. What if they hired an assistant at $1,000 per month and, as a result, they increased their income by $4,000 per month? Then they could take the extra $3,000 and invest it into advertising and boost their business again. Have your personal business coach client write down how they would use their sales assistant if they were to hire one. Hiring an sales assistant may be out of their comfort zone, but that may be the business coaching they need to get the breakthrough they are looking for in their business.
