What Good Is Personal Coaching?

What good is personal coaching? Well, how good would a NFL team be without a head coach? Coaching is the key. Personal coaches do for the individual, what a head coach does for the team. They organize the player’s talents, skills and abilities to maximize the time on the field. For the personal journey, the time on the field is played out on the field of life. Play full out and push your personal coach’s limits.

How Does Personal Coaching Develop The Person?

Personal coaching develops people by maximizing their environment. Becoming truly effective is the key. This is accomplished by optimizing the client’s work place, mastering their time and organizing their priorities.

The only way personal coaching will ever take flight is if the client makes the decision to change their behaviors and seek improvements in their life. You’ll surprise yourself with what you are capable of accomplishing once you make the decision to change. The next step is to decide on what you want and then take action to go and get it; you’ll be amazed at how fast things start to happen.

Attracting An Abundance Of Money, Health And Great People

When a person decides to enroll in personal coaching, they have essentially decided to raise their standards of life. Accountability is a huge piece of their success. The second a person knows they will be held to account for their actions, they naturally raise the bar.
While working with a personal coach a person begins to change their behaviors, develop a richer character and build a solid self image. This in return starts to attract different people into their lives, often times for the positive. As these positive changes begin to appear on a regular basis they tend to inspire those that are around them to aspire for greatness within themselves. This is the power of personal coaching.

So Tell Me, Do You Need To Be Certified To Be A Life Coach?

I was having a conversation with a friend and the topics shifted from sports to do you need to be certified to be a life coach? The answer was easy, but not really simple. You see, you don’t actually need to be certified. You do need to have credibility in order to influence others and that is what a good life coach does, influence others. As a coach, do I need to have a certification or be a certified coach who focuses on life issues?

Professionals Often Ask Me, Do You Need To Be Certified To Be A Life Coach?

As a coach, I often answer this question with a question. Would you want your heart surgeon to be a board certified surgeon if he was to perform open heart surgery on you or simply a family medicine doctor? Now, don’t get me wrong, they is nothing wrong with family medicine doctors. They will keep you healthy and if you consult with them on a regular basis, you should live a long and healthy life.
This is the case of do you need to be certified to be a life coach? No, but if you want to be a professional and help people get down to the root of the issues or problems, it would be best if you actually were a certified life coach. This allows for professional training, in-depth understanding of human dynamics and behavior modification.

It’s All Just Conversation, right?

Yes, it is. However, I did need to be certified to become a life coach. It was about creditability for me. In order to build the confidence beyond the friendship advisor, I needed to become a professional coach. Once I completed the training it became easy to move from the friendly conversation of helping friends and relatives to actually being able to acquirer paying clients as a life coach. So you be the judge, do you need to be certified to be a life coach?

Finding A Resolution Using Conflict Coaching

Finding a resolution using conflict coaching mitigates time, energy and money. Any time you’re involved with a level of conflict it drains you. It mainly drains your focus and energy and a coaching just could be the answer. Conflict coaches are trained to develop strategies in order to mediate the conflict in the shortest amount of time with the least amount of damage.

So What Is Conflict Coaching?

Conflict coaching is much like mediation where two or more parties come to together to resolve their issues or concerns. Coaches develop sound communication skills and are in tune with the power of emotions at a heightened state of awareness. During the conflict coaching and resolutions process many factors fall into play. Conflict coaches would benefit from spending time reading and learning about different cultures. This would allow for a deeper connection with the client by being able to empathize and effectively communicate across cultures. In this discover of cross cultural communication one learns more about themselves.

Gather Feedback During Your Conflict Coaching Sessions.

What is feedback in the first place? Through conflict coaching we learn that feedback is the verbal or non-verbal communication that is shared during the process of how our behavior is affecting or influencing others. Conflict coaches set up an environment that really allows for an open dialog and feedback is the mechanism that provides the insight. It is in this portion of the communication that the underlining issues are revealed.

In order for feedback to be productive it needs to be specific and focused on the behavior not the person. When the person is attacked and not the behavior, the person often times becomes defensive and this slows down the process.

Basically there are three things you can do with feedback.
1. Think about what was just shared.
2. Use it to become a more effective person.
3. Forget about it and go about your business.

Tell Me How To Become A Strength Coach

Please tell me how to become a strength coach. Well, there is a traditional route and then there is not so traditional route to follow. With either approach, the best way to learn how to become a strengthening coach is to simply start reading about different topics in this field.

The strength of the coach is in his or her experience of how to apply the techniques of building strength to the client.

How To Become A Strength Coach Takes Commitment

Whether you learn how to become a strength coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or you’ve learned through the practice of trial and error to become an effective coach takes time and commitment. While following the NSCA guidelines to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) may be a demanding task, the pay offs are rewarding.

The other route to obtaining a degree of understanding of how to become a strength coach is by practicing this profession on a daily basis as a coach. By taking the time and reading, practicing, and correcting the flaws discovered while practicing and then implementing these changes repeating them again and again until a level of proficiency is reached.

Hard Work Makes For A Great Payoff

One of the fastest ways I have been able to teach my clients how to become a strength coach themselves is by demanding them to work hard and to never quit. Coaching is a learned skill. JTS Advisors provides all the coaching skills one needs to become a great coach. It is hard work, but the payoff is enormous. From there, it is up to the coach to decide on the niche or subject that the coach wishes to study and then coach on.
A simple format would be to train with weights three days a week as in Mon/Wed/Friday format with two cardio days and a solid focus on nutritional timing. Quality and potion sizes of your food are also going to be key in your recovery. Eat six small meals spread out through the day and stay hydrated.

Psychology In Coaching The Mental Picture

By developing your psychology in coaching, it will help to manifest the tangible results of your mental pictures. Beliefs are embedded deep within your psychology. How Does Psychology In Coaching Work?

The key to doing anything is focus. Working on your psychology is no different. Your self-concept or your self-image is the mental picture of yourself. Lets relate this to a topic everyone can relate to-money. Ok, now that I have you attention, I didn’t want you to be bored…psychology in coaches training.

So here’s a question for you: If you received a large amount of money, won it in the lottery or your yearly income became you monthly income, how would that make you feel? Most people would say great, amazing or terrific. The reality is, if your old self-concept is still in place you will feel uncomfortable and you will make poor decisions, invest in things you know nothing about or find ways to get back to your comfort zone.

Moving Mountains with The Wealth Coach

Whether its wealth or riches, the wealth coach is the coach that teaches the easiest way to move forward in your life or in your business, by getting out of your head and into your life. The wealth coach’s focus is on moving the mountains of” to do” list, agendas and creative thoughts to simplified action steps.

The Wealth Coach Uses a Planning System

First thing that needs to happen is, get everything out of your head and onto paper. It’s easier to move a thought forward on paper than it is in your head. The wealth coach knows that without a clear target to focus on the outcomes will be delayed and time and money will be wasted. Begin with the end in mind when listing out your thoughts and ideas. While coaching your clients, have them incorporate a system into their planning. Creating a mastermind group to share your ideas with and to receive feedback from like minded people will ensure the fastest possible outcomes. Of course though, massive action must be taken on your behalf in order to create the wealth you wish to possess.

Consistency is the Key With The Wealth Coach

Demonstrate consistency on a daily basis if you want the wealth coach to shovel the dirt from the bottom of the mountain. You must do the work and your coach is there to help carry your burden. Focus on your activities and the results will take care of themselves. The wealthy coaches exercise their skills on a daily basis. They do this in order to demonstrate by their own example what it takes first hand to create mega success.

What’s Your Motivation For Change?

The late Jim Rohn quoted “It’s easy to pay the price when the promise is clear.” What is your goal? What do you want to achieve this year? What type of life do you want to live? Being the wealth coach is very satisfying, especially when you help your clients put their future endeavors into action in the present moment and they begin to remove the mountains of complexity and fill their days with action based strategies that produce success on a continual basis.

Give this strategy a try and see for yourself that it works. If you liked this coaching tip, leave a comment or use the handy bookmark buttons below to share it with others on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, etc. Thanks!

The Essence of a Business Coaching Practice

One goal of a business coaching practice is to make it clear what a coach must practice on a daily basis to create success. Coaching must be broken down to the simplest format of what it takes to build you up personally into a person that understands themselves and their business. This will remove any doubt and erase the question of why you are doing what you are doing. Before long, you will be walking as tall as John Wayne.

Traits Displayed In a Business Coaching Practice

It all starts with pride. Pride in yourself, pride in your business coaching practice and most importantly, being proud to serve those you serve on a daily basis and knowing that you are adding value to their lives. This pride I am referring to adds to your self-worth. With a good level of self-worth one finds satisfaction from past accomplishments, motivation in the present movement and the inspiration to tackle future endeavors.

Punctuality saves lives. While in combat, punctuality can mean the difference making it home safe and not returning home at all. Given a helicopter extraction time in a hot spot, seconds can mean the difference of lifting off safely, having a few comrades wounded or even worse losing or failing that mission all together. Just as in your business coaching practice, you never want to have someone waiting on you and therefore never allow someone to hold you up. Demonstrate a sense of respect for yourself and others when it is time to show up. Better yet, be there 15 minutes prior!

The Distinctions Are Displayed While Demonstrating Discipline

It takes discipline to pull it all together. Self discipline is a more accurate portrait. You are the only one who can make anything happen. Others may motivate you or influence your actions, but at the end of the day, it is you that needs to take the steps forward in your business coaching practice. Self discipline creates an orderly life. You will be served well to develop the habit of daily self discipline by making yourself do something that you may not want to do. This could be as simple as working out or turning off the TV and making your daily calls.

You see, I have learned that in order to build self discipline, just like my muscles or my mind, I must practice daily or they will begin to atrophy and wither away. By now you can start to relate how this all ties together with your business coaching practices and every other area of your life. Be good to yourself and all those you serve.
